Sometimes in life, words get skewed and used against you. Jim Ross experienced that yet again this week when certain wrestling websites stated that he was bashing Roman Reigns during a recent blog entry. The former WWE commentator explained that he did not think that Reigns was ready to be a Wrestlemania main event performer at this point in time. Ross pointed out that there was still plenty of time for Reigns to become someone worthy of that spot.

Tully Blanchard injured

Over the weekend, Tully Blanchard attempted to help out his daughter, Tessa Blanchard, by getting involved in a match that she was working on the independent wrestling circuit. However, things did not go as planned. The legendary member of the Four Horsemen delivered a drop kick during a run in, but he ended up suffering an injury. Reports are stating that he tore his biceps during the incident. Blanchard does not wrestle on a regular basis.

Darren Young returns

It looks like Darren Young will be making his return to Monday Night Raw and Smackdown very soon. Now that he has recovered from his injury, WWE is testing him out physically. Young worked a live event in Canada over the weekend. No word yet on how he will be utilized upon returning, but there were rumors not too long ago that he was going to be revealed as the person behind the bunny that has been hanging out and teaming with Adam Rose.

Within the developmental roster, Mojo Rowley is one of the guys that WWE views as a future main event performer on the main roster. Some are even saying that he can some day take the torch from John Cena, which is really high praise and hard to believe. Management is a bit concerned with him lately, as they feel that his connection with the audience has died down considerably. It might get worse because he needs time off to heal his injuries.

Back in November, Vince McMahon gave fans a free month subscription to his WWE Network. It was a way to entice people to sign up as permanent members. Apparently, not everyone got the notice, even though it was heavily advertised on every episode of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown for several weeks. Buy rate for the Survivor Series, which was available for free, have come out, and it shows that approximately 100,000 fans still paid for it.

Bo Dallas returning soon

In case you have not noticed, Bo Dallas has been on the sidelines for the last couple of weeks, in order to recover from a foot injury. Reports have surfaced that he is almost healthy enough to make a return to WWE. Some are even saying that he could be back on the road before the year ends. The belief, however, is that management might hold off his return until the Royal Rumble, where surprise entrants in the battle royal are always welcomed.

While he is no longer with WWE and has no plans to return anytime soon, Batista still has loyalty towards friends who are still in the industry. Through social media, he posted an article that wondered why Titus O'Neil was not being given more of a chance by management. The former world heavyweight champion had been campaigning for a good period of time for O'Neil to get a big push. He's not as vocal, but he still wants to see it happen.

Bellator officials have already stated that they are going to heavily pursue Lesnar when his contract with WWE expires next spring. If they are successfully able to outbid UFC, then a potential match between Lesnar and Lashley could take place. When asked who would win, Lashley stated that he would not take the fight if he did not feel that he had a chance to win.
