The legendary performer has agreed to work as an adviser for the WWE developmental program. He will make the occasional trip to the WWE Performance Center and provide evaluations and advice to the performers and the trainers.

In a move that does not come as a surprise to those that have been following the company closely, WWE has opted to release the Great Khali. His profile has been officially moved to the alumni section on the company website. Reports are saying that his contract expired, and management felt it was financially beneficial to not renew the former world heavyweight champion, even though he was considered a marketing asset.

As the company continues to discuss the possibility of remaining on Spike TV, Dixie Carter and her staff have been in negotiations with Destination America, a channel that is under the Discovery Channel umbrella and is available in 60 million homes in the United States. The move is seen as a precaution, in case their deal with Spike does not become finalized. The first option for the company is still to stay where they currently are.

Alberto Del Rio
Since public relations can cripple a company, WWE decided that it would pay to prevent things from getting worse with the Hispanic audience. As part of the settlement between the two sides, management agreed to pay Alberto Del Rio an undisclosed sum of money. In return, the former world heavyweight champion has promised to no longer saying negative things and implying that racism exists backstage.
