Hulk Hogan
While doing an interview in Boston recently, Hulk Hogan was asked about Slammiversary 2014. He essentially sidestepped the topic, even though he could have simply provided a couple of commentary on the event since he did work for TNA at one point in time. This has led to some speculations that he is not allowed to talk about other companies now that he is under contract to WWE.
June 26, 2014
Bully Ray
When TNA announced at Slammiversary 2014 that Devon and Bully Ray were going to be inducted into the hall of fame, it led to a lot of speculation about the status of Devon with the company. It looks like the former television champion is making a return to TNA, as his profile has been restored on the official roster page on their website.
June 17, 2014
James Storm
The decision to invite members of the Dallas Cowboys to Slammiversary 2014 proved to be quite an effective marketing move, as TNA was able to garner some mainstream media coverage from George Selvie being involved in a segment with James Storm and Mr Anderson. Among those that covered the incident were Dallas Morning News, TMZ, Fox Sports, CBS and a variety of local affiliates.
June 16, 2014
Dixie Carter
In a sign that the family still has some name value in the Dallas area, Kevin Von Erich is already paying off for TNA, as ticket sales for Slammiversary 2014 was said to have received a spike shortly after Dixie Carter announced that the legendary WCCW star was going to be involved. In return, the company is giving national exposure to his sons Ross Von Erich and Marshall Von Erich.
June 13, 2014
Austin Aries
Since MVP has a badly injured knee, TNA decided to change up the main event of Slammiversary 2014. Eric Young will still be defending the world heavyweight championship in a steel cage at the event, but he's now going to be doing so against two opponents. The winners of the respective matches between Samoa Joe, Bobby Lashley, Kenny King and Austin Aries will be challenging Young for the belt.
June 13, 2014
Jeff Jarrett
Thus far, the TNA Hall of Fame consists of Sting and Kurt Angle, two of the more prolific performers in the history of the industry. A third member is set to join them. At Slammiversary 2014, Angle will be on hand to announce who the latest inductee will be. No official word on who the third person was going to be, but there are heavy rumors that Jeff Jarrett could be inducted as part of his departure agreement with TNA.
June 11, 2014
Chris Jericho
During a recent podcast interview with Chris Jericho, MVP revealed that he was going to try to fight through the knee injury and work Slammiversary 2014. The former United States Heavyweight Champion is scheduled to challenge Eric Young for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at the pay per view. Management is still working on a backup plan in case his knee does not hold up, however.
June 11, 2014
Kevin Von Erich
Since Ross Von Erich and Marshall Von Erich are working a match at Slammiversary 2014, there have been a lot of rumors floating around that the sons of Kevin Von Erich are going to be signed to a contract with TNA. However, there are reports surfacing that the company is basically doing this as a one shot deal. TNA gains additional exposure since the Von Erich name is still beloved in Dallas, while the brothers are given a chance to be introduced to fans in the United States.
June 8, 2014
Davey Richards
As of right now, TNA has not announced the opponents for Ross Von Erich and Marshall Von Erich, the sons of Texas legend Kevin Von Erich, at Slammiversary 2014. Some rumors are floating around that they might be paired up with excellent ring workers in Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards, but others believe that they will be working against a heel tandem in order to generate a good reaction in front of their hometown fans in Dallas.
June 7, 2014
Bobby Roode
In the storyline, Bobby Roode is serving a suspension from Impact Wrestling because he confronted MVP, who recently turned heel. Apparently, that suspension could be ending soon, as the longtime TNA star is being advertised for Slammiversary 2014 weekend. He does not have a match, but there is a very good chance that he could be making his on screen return that evening.
June 3, 2014
Eric Young
Slammiversary 2014 takes place later on this month, and the main event might be in jeopardy. Originally, Eric Young was scheduled to defend the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against MVP, but the challenger suffered some sort of knee injury while working an independent wrestling show in England over the weekend. No word yet on the severity of the injury, but MVP was limping pretty badly.
June 1, 2014
Kevin Von Erich
During a recent interview to promote his upcoming appearance at Slammiversary 2014, Kevin Von Erich revealed to the Dallas News that he normally avoids traveling because of a bad back suffered from years of being an in ring performer. The Texas legend stated that he was willing to travel from his home in Hawaii to the TNA pay per view because he wants to see his son performing on a national stage.
June 1, 2014
Kevin Von Erich
In a rather interesting move, Kevin Von Erich has been booked for Slammiversary 2014. The WCCW legend will be on hand to watch his sons, Marshall and Ross, wrestling on the TNA pay per view. The third generation stars have been wrestling over in Japan, gaining some much needed seasoning and experience before attempting to make their way to the United States.
May 29, 2014
Eric Young
For those of you that do not watch Impact Wrestling on a regular basis, MVP has done a heel turn. The former United States Heavyweight Champion has also given himself a shot at Eric Young and the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at Slammiversary 2014 as well. Management pulled the trigger on the move, as they feel that MVP could be more valuable as an antagonist.
May 9, 2014
Brutus Magnus
A new Slammiversary 2014 poster has been released. This time, new TNA World Heavyweight CHampion Eric Young is featured instead of Brutus Magnus.
May 3, 2014
Bobby Roode
A picture of the official Slammiversary 2014 poster, which features Brutus Magnus as the centerpiece attraction. Behind him are Bobby Roode, Jeff Hardy, MVP and Kurt Angle, which has led to speculations that TNA could be doing a big world heavyweight championship match featuring all five of the performers.
March 26, 2014
Dixie Carter
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Slammiversary 2014 is being held in the Dallas area this year. Dixie Carter and her staff are a bit concerned about that choice now, as the more popular WWE recently was only able to draw in 5000 fans to a live event in the city last weekend. Interest in wrestling might just be low in that area.
March 21, 2014
Dixie Carter
The location of Slammiversary 2014 has now been revealed. Dixie Carter and company will be hosting the pay per view in Dallas this year. It will be held at the College Park Center at the University of Texas at Arlington. The venue is just two years old and holds approximately 7000 people. The show takes place on June 15.

Scotty 2 Hotty
"You know what's so cool wrestling for them now? When you're there as a full-time guy and you're wrestling four nights a week, you kind of take it for granted. Everything is going 100 miles an hour. Whereas now, like when I went back for 'Old School' Raw, you go this could be the last time. And you kind of appreciate it more. You take it all in. And then same thing for NXT. This could be the last time I'm in a WWE ring. Hopefully it's not and chances are it's not going to be because I'm still in decent shape and relatively young. I'm sure there'll be more coming down the road but you say that to yourself and appreciate it." - Scotty 2 Hotty talks about WWE return
March 22, 2014
Heath Slater
There are talks backstage that Heath Slater has grown really frustrated with his role in WWE. He has only had one televised win since November of 2013. He has also been utilized just once on Monday Night Raw this year, teaming with Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre in a losing effort to guest stars Rikishi, Brian Christopher and Scotty 2 Hotty.
March 4, 2014
Scotty 2 Hotty
Over the last two weeks, Scotty 2 Hotty has been seen quite often with the developmental stars of WWE NXT, and it has now been revealed that he was officially under a short term contract as a trainer. He is now done with his stint, but there is no word yet on whether or not he will be brought on board full time as a trainer for WWE.
February 16, 2014
Bayley
Scotty 2 Hotty spent some town down in WWE NXT this weekend, where the veteran performer made an appearance and helped to train some of the developmental wrestlers at the WWE Performance Center. He also posed for this picture with Bayley and posted it on Twitter.

Scotty 2 Hotty

One of the individuals that WWE was most impressed with during the Old School Raw episode was Scotty 2 Hotty. He stayed in really good physical condition and was still able to work a very solid match. Scotty even nailed his trademark Worm move well.

January 9, 2014
Nick Dinsmore

Former WWE stars Eugene and Scotty 2 Hotty were both in attendance at the stand up comedy show by Mick Foley last night in Orlando.

Alberto Del Rio
A lot of action took place in the main event of Money in the Bank 2014. Fans went crazy as they saw creative signature spots from Randy Orton, Sheamus, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Alberto Del Rio, Kane and Bray Wyatt. However, it was Cena, much to the dismay of online WWE fans, who climbed the ladder and captured the heavyweight championship.
June 29, 2014
CM Punk
To calm down the Money in the Bank 2014 audience, WWE opted to go with another divas match as a filler. Layla El and Summer Rae battled in a match, where Fandango served as the special guest referee. Fans were so disinterested in the segment that a CM Punk chant broke out. In the end, Layla caught Summer with a kick to gain the pinfall. Layla and Fandango kissed after the match, while a despondent Summer looked on.
June 29, 2014
Alexander Rusev
In a rematch at Money in the Bank 2014, Alexander Rusev was successfully able to conquer Big E Langston again with his submission move. It was the typical match that you would expect from the two. There was a botched spot where Langston speared Rusev to the outside of the ring. However, the two of them more than made up for that by doing a great closing sequence.
June 29, 2014
Cody Rhodes
In a match that was slightly held in higher regards than a filler match, Goldust and Cody Rhodes, who worked under his Stardust gimmick again, defeated Curtis Axel, who was sporting a ridiculous looking singlet, and Ryback. The match was designed to highlight the Stardust character. Since there was a little bit of action after the match, there is a chance that WWE could be continuing this feud.
June 29, 2014
Dean Ambrose
In a very exciting match, Seth Rollins outlasted Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, Rob Van Dam and Jack Swagger to capture the briefcase at Money in the Bank 2014. WWE wants to continue the war between Ambrose and the Authority, so they had Kane coming out and providing assistance to Rollins. Despite the heel tactic to win the match, the Rollins victory was actually cheered by a good amount of fans.
June 29, 2014
Adam Rose
Since WWE needed a filler segment at Money in the Bank 2014 and wanted to showcase Adam Rose a little bit, he was given a quick match against Damien Sandow, who was dressed as Paul Revere. Match was not really all that noteworthy, and Rose got the win after hitting the Party Foul finishing move. This was a segment that belongs more on Monday Night Raw than a pay per view.
June 29, 2014
Cameron
Naomi Knight was given a crack at the WWE Divas Championship at Money in the Bank 2014, but it was Paige that walked away as the reigning titleholder after a DDT and a pin. The match was designed to further the eventual split between Naomi and Cameron, who was at ringside and taking glee whenever her tag team partner was in peril against Paige.
June 29, 2014
Erick Rowan
Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso had their biggest challenge to date when Erick Rowan and Luke Harper challenged them for the WWE tag team championship at Money in the Bank 2014. The twin brothers delivered by retaining the belt. The Usos performed a double superplex on Rowan before finishing him off with consecutive flying splashes from the top rope.
June 29, 2014
Batista
In a rather surprising move, WWE had the Shield win convincingly against Evolution. Batista and Randy Orton were the first two performers to be eliminated from the main event match at Payback 2014, but both provided interference for Triple H after their eliminations. After taking a brutal beating, Roman Reigns picked up the win for his team. Many expected Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to be eliminated during the match, but WWE opted to give them a dominant ending.
June 2, 2014
Alicia Fox
In a match designed to be the buffer between the two main event features at Payback 2014, Paige successfully defended the WWE Divas Championship against Alicia Fox via submission. Afterwards, Alicia continued her story line of going crazy whenever things do not go well for her. The audience reacted more to the post match antics than the actual match.
June 2, 2014
Bray Wyatt
In a segment filled with plenty of interference from Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Luke Rowan and Erick Harper, John Cena was able to defeat Bray Wyatt in a Last Man Standing match at Payback 2014 after Cena put Wyatt through a big black box and covered him with an even heavier box. Rumors have it that WWE will be continuing this feud and something could trigger that on Monday Night Raw this week.
June 2, 2014
Rob Van Dam
At Payback 2014, Wade Barrett successfully defended the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Rob Van Dam after picking up the pin fall victory, thanks to the Bull Hammer. The performers placed some doubt in that finish when it appeared that Barrett had injured his arm while smashing into the corner post after RVD ducked away from the move outside the ring.
June 1, 2014
Alexander Rusev
In a glorified squash match at Payback 2014, Alexander Rusev defeated Big E Langston via submission to continue his push up the ladder in WWE. He was able to slap on the camel clutch after delivering a big kick to Langston. Afterwards, he held the submission move on for a short period of time before Lana instructs him to let go. Rusev should be placed into a new feud this week.
June 1, 2014
Cody Rhodes
In a match designed by WWE to accelerate the split between the brothers, Curtis Axel and Ryback defeated Cody Rhodes and Goldust in the second match of Payback 2014. Ryback picked up the pin fall victory for his team after delivering the Shell Shock to Rhodes. Afterwards, Rhodes told Goldust that he needs to find a better tag team partner for himself.
June 1, 2014
Antonio Cesaro
Despite being in the airplane spin for quite a few rotations, Sheamus was able to capture the victory over Antonio Cesaro, who had Paul Heyman with him at ringside, at Payback 2014 by surprising his opponent with a small package. With the win, Sheamus retains the United States Heavyweight Championship and will more than likely be placed in another feud by WWE tomorrow.
June 1, 2014
Daniel Bryan
In a match filled with quite a few over the top spots, Daniel Bryan successfully retained the WWE Championship by defeating Kane at Extreme Rules 2014. A running knee followed by a pin enabled Bryan to get the pin fall victory over Kane. Prior to that spot, Kane was put through a burning table and carried on a forklift, among other things.
May 4, 2014
Paige
Since WWE needed a Divas Championship match at Extreme Rules 2014, Paige was given the victory over Tamina Snuka after delivering her submission finisher. The segment was short and quick, providing only a couple of spots outside the ring. It basically served as a pay per view buffer between the steel cage match and the world title match.
May 4, 2014
Bray Wyatt
After suffering a loss at the last pay per view, Bray Wyatt needed a victory over John Cena at Extreme Rules 2014, and he got just that. Wyatt received a heavy dose of interference from Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, but Cena still managed to overcome those odds. As Cena was walking out of the cage, a kid showed up and began singing, which provided enough distraction for Wyatt to hit his Sister Abigail finisher and walk out for the victory.
May 4, 2014
Batista
In the most anticipated match at Extreme Rules 2014, the Shield defeated Evolution. Roman Reigns picked up the pin fall victory over Batista after a Superman punch and a spear. Triple H, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose fought through the audience before Rollins took out all four of them by hurling himself from the elevated stands.
May 4, 2014
Big E Langston
The first title change at Extreme Rules 2014 took place when Wade Barrett defeated Big E Langston to capture the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Barrett picked up the pin fall victory after delivering a running Bull Hammer finisher on Langston. A highlight of the pay per view was Langston spearing Barrett from the ring to the floor.
