Even though most people are under the belief that Scott Hall was given a release by GFW because he was kicked out of a wrestling event for being drunk, the people in his camp are telling another story. They are saying that the former Intercontinental Champion was the one that made the decision to part ways. It is being said that Hall was worried that Global Force Wrestling was becoming too big that it would upset WWE if he were to be involved.

Over the last couple of years, Scott Hall and Cody Hall have mended their relationship and are now extremely close. The two toy around with the possibility of joining WWE together. Cody was already generating interest from management because of his size and who his father is. However, that interest has intensified now that is proving himself in New Japan. Scott has already publicly mentioned that he wants to be a trainer.

During a podcast interview with Jim Ross, Shawn Michaels confirmed something that fans have been speculating for years. He revealed that he was so miserable working in WWE that he asked Vince McMahon to release him from his contract so that he could head down to WCW. Michaels really wanted to be with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall at the time. McMahon, however, refused to let him go because he could not afford to lose another big star.

Since they spent a lot of time in WCW tormenting one another, fans were a bit confused that the nWo would come out and save Sting. Scott Hall was asked about that from a fan through social media, and his response was that he had no comment. It is difficult for anyone involved with WWE to explain the logic behind that one. Hall did mention money as a factor, but that more than likely has to do with what his character is thinking.

At Wrestlemania, fans finally got to witness the much anticipated showdown between two of the greatest stables of all time, the nWo and DX. While scripting the match and segment, many backstage felt that a lot of the alliances and logic did not make sense. Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall were longtime enemies of Sting. Plus, they are also real life friends with Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Sean Waltman. WWE went through with it anyways.
