Great Khali
Even though the company has been slowly downplaying the importance of the Great Khali, WWE has plans in the works to expand even further into India. Management recognizes the country as a very profitable one for their brand. More shows are being planned, and television deals are being cemented. While the company no longer wishes to pay him as much money as before, this move into India might help Khali secure another contract soon.
September 25, 2014
Prince Devitt
Since WWE likes to own the copyright to the names of their performers, most everyone is given a new moniker when they sign a contract. Prince Devitt is no exception. The international star will now be using the name Finn Balor while he works through the developmental phase. Depending on how fans react to the name, Devitt will more than likely be bringing that name with him to the main roster.
September 25, 2014
Alberto Del Rio
Trash to one man might be viewed as a treasure to another. When Alberto Del Rio was fired from WWE due to a backstage incident, AAA salivated at the thought of building their company around him. When the two sides were legally allowed to sign a contract, management quickly jumped on it and made Del Rio the face of their company. Thus far, they have been pleased with the results because Del Rio carries himself extremely well, especially during media interviews.

WWE is doing some promotional work in India this week, and once again, the former world heavyweight champion was not chosen for the task of generating interest in his own country. Instead, WWE has sent Wade Barrett, a European star who is currently injured. The belief is that management will be severing ties with Khali once his contract expires because he is one of higher paid performers on the roster.

September 13, 2014
Kenta Kobayashi
When he finally signed a developmental contract with WWE, many fans were under the impression that Kenta Kobayashi might be one of the rare exceptions who get to keep using their names. Those that watched Monday Night Raw this week saw an in show commercial being aired for Twisted Tea that featured Santino Marella and Adam Rose. The move is viewed as being quite interesting because the company has spent years shifting their attention towards a younger audience. This product does not necessarily fit that demographic.

Zeb Colter
One of the reasons why Santino Marella worked a segment with Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter on Monday Night Raw this week was because Emma was overseas. WWE sent the diva to her home country of Australia to do some promotional work for an upcoming tour.
