Heath Slater
Since the company needs room for all the new stars that they are bringing up from the developmental program, WWE is expected to allow several of the veteran performers to leave the company soon. The belief is that Heath Slater will be allowed to walk once his contract expires. The 3MB member has expressed frustration backstage over not receiving a push.

Aksana
Another name that is rumored to be released by WWE soon is Aksana. While she is on good terms with management now, the backstage relationship has always been up and down. The belief is that the company views her as being expendable and will more than likely allow her to walk once her contract expires. WWE needs room for newer stars.

Bobby Eaton
One of the biggest mysteries in professional wrestling involves Dennis Condrey and his decision to walk away from the Midnight Express. When asked about the situation, Bobby Eaton said that his former tag team partner basically left without saying a word to him for two years. Condrey reportedly did not inform Jim Cornette or the NWA, either.

Brock Lesnar
"I remember seeing Brock Lesnar the first time he walked into the doors of WWE. All the boys were gathered around eating dinner and Brock Lesnar walks in. He might as well could have had a bolt on each side of his neck, because he looked like just a monstrous Frankenstein of a human being. You don't see guys like Brock Lesnar walk around every single day of your life." - Steve Austin talks about meeting Brock Lesnar backstage for the first time

Bret Hart
"When you look at it closely, CM Punk's burned out. He's always given 100 percent in all his matches, and delivered some of the best pay-per-view matches in the past 10 years. And it's not easy when there are legends who only work part-time, and guys like Punk and Daniel Bryan do all the work, and watch someone like Brock Lesnar check out Wrestling i n c.walk in and take those big matches and big paydays without having to be on the road all the time. I think that had a lot to do with his decision, and rightfully so. One of Vince McMahon's favorite sayings is, 'Life's not fair.' I don't see Punk being a factor at WrestleMania, but he still has a lot of greatness left in him. As a fan, I hope he comes back, and as a wrestler, I have a lot of respect for him, too." - Bret Hart talks about CM Punk leaving WWE

Great Khali
Since WWE has been phasing out the Great Khali over the last few weeks, there is a very good chance that he could be allowed to walk away from the company when his contract expires. If that were to happen, then Jinder Mahal might finally get his push, as he is a decent worker, does not get in trouble and is on a relatively cheap contract.
March 17, 2014
Rey Mysterio
With his contract expiring in a few weeks, things might have just became easier for WWE to let Rey Mysterio walk away. Merchandise sales for the masked superstar have dropped as of late. His consistent ability to generate revenue for the company was a big reason why they never gave up on Mysterio as his body repeatedly failed him over the years.
March 14, 2014
Christy Hemme
At TNA Lockdown 2014, Mr Anderson was able to climb out of the cage, but the referee was knocked out, and he had no choice but to return to the ring because Sam Shaw managed pull Christy Hemme into the ring. Christy was able to escape, but Anderson was caught with a low blow and a choke hold, which enabled Shawn to walk out and get the win.

Adam Pearce
As a kid, Adam Pearce was quite the athlete. He lettered in football and baseball while in high school. Unfortunately, though, those dreams were cut short as he suffered from Acute Muscular Compartment Syndrome, which basically required him to learn how to walk again. He would battle his way through that to become a professional wrestler.
March 2, 2014
CM Punk
"Well, I had that happen. Stone Cold did that and went home. And he regrets it to this very day. Because he just--you never get into a situation where--there's a couple of basics things here. One is that you don't want to get into a situation where it becomes easy for you as a professional or in private life to start breaking commitments. And a contract is a commitment. I think that the other thing is that you never get--you never save enough money nor can you live a starkness existence. The way you got all the money you're ever gonna need and you live good money laying behind. I personally don't believe in that. And I think a lot of the wrestlers over the years would say the same thing. So I'm not a fan of anybody in any walk of life exiting before it's time. But I also don't know all the information. This may have been a situation where Punk needed to take his leave and recharge his batteries a long time ago. I don't know. I haven't been there. And I have observed his privacy by not reaching out to him in several weeks." - Jim Ross compares the backstage heat incidents involving CM Punk and Steve Austin

Low Ki
While he has stated before that he is done with professional wrestling, there are those that believe that Low Ki might be enticed to make a permanent return after making the decision to work a match in Australia this weekend. CM Punk

There is some concern backstage in WWE, now that CM Punk has decided to walk out of the company. He was viewed as the person who was not afraid to speak up for his fellow performers when management does something unfavorable. With him gone, so goes the leverage for the wrestlers.

Roman Reigns

"I'll literally be getting dressed or something, I turn the corner, and WHAM there's the cameras. 'Ah, they got me again.' It's like Where's Waldo, you never know where they're gonna be. And for me when I'm backstage, preparing, getting ready, it's not something I wanna be bothered with. So sometimes you'll just randomly hear guys cursing, like that's gonna get them off of the show, like they can't use that scene or something because, 'there's that guy, he's just cussing in the background. A lot of guys just, they all just duck their heads and walk off. So that's something that we deal with but that's the world of entertainment."

- Roman Reigns on Total Divas cameras

Ric Flair

"Everyone wanted that spot and I was the lucky one that got chosen. It's an absolute honor. Growing up watching Ric Flair with the way he dressed, the way he walks, the way he talks, I kind of embodied that character. It's been working out really well because I've been winning with it. So thank you Ric Flair, I'm finally winning."

- The Miz

Christopher Daniels
"A unique athlete, it's funny because he was a book that was judged by his cover, for a very long time and it took a while to get him into TNA and we were always fighting to get him in. Everybody was like 'we gotta change his look and blah blah blah,' but finally when they gave him the chance, he showed them that you didn't need to judge him by the cover because he brings a unique intensity and a unique character to TNA and I think it would be a different TNA without him. He has changed the business." - Christopher Daniels discusses Samoa Joe

February 26, 2014
Brutus Magnus
While there are those backstage that believe that he is deserving of another title reign, the belief right now is that Samoa Joe will not be taking the belt from Brutus Magnus. TNA wants to give him a nice long reign to build up his heel heat, so that when the time is right, a baby face would get the huge victory over him.
February 26, 2014

Samoa Joe

"I would say the best person - because it was the best match-up - would be Samoa Joe. Usually you pick people that are retired and been out of the business for a while. Not for me - it's the guys that made you. Joe was a big part of that, so I would love it to be Joe but I don't know who it's going to be yet."
