Sami Zayn bound for glory

An unnecessary and minor controversy erupted over social media this weekend. Sami Zayn innocently posted that he was "bound for glory". Of course, that happens to be the name of a TNA pay per view, which immediately sparked speculations over his future with WWE. Zayn is not going to be jumping ship anytime soon. He is currently healing from a shoulder injury and will be back on television very soon.

Vince Russo on Sami Zayn

Never one to avoid controversy, Vince Russo has drawn the ire of the internet wrestling community yet again. The source of discontent stems from the fact that he took to social media to say that Sami Zayn, who made his debut on Monday Night Raw this week, was not a television star yet. He stated that while the hardcore fans might know of him, the masses just assumed that he was some jobber that was in the ring with John Cena.

Adrian Neville taking time off

There is a very good chance that NXT fans will not be seeing Adrian Neville around for a while. Management utilized him to help give an immediate boost to Kevin Owens this week by having the former heavyweight champion be stretchered out of the arena after a brutally vicious post match assault. The idea is to build up Owens as quickly as possible, so that Sami Zayn can have an immediate challenger. Neville is still waiting for a promotion.

Adrian Neville not called up

When he dropped the NXT Heavyweight Championship to Sami Zayn, many were under the impression that Adrian Neville was going to be immediately called up to the main roster in WWE. However, that does not appear to be the case, as the former champion is scheduled for the weekly developmental television show until at least the middle of January. That has led to speculations that he could be called up in time to be one of the Royal Rumble participants.
