Hideo Itami

NXT touring

Being an independent wrestling promotion is going to get a lot harder come May. That is when WWE is tentatively planning on having the stars of NXT begin touring the country. Unlike the main roster, the developmental wrestlers would be performer is smaller venues in towns that might not normally get the big name stars coming through. Guys like Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Hideo Itami, Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville are hard to compete against.

NXT stars at Wrestlemania

Since the brand has been growing in popularity as of late, a lot of WWE fans were excited at the prospect of some of the developmental wrestlers being used at Wrestlemania. Unfortunately, though, that might not be happening after all. Reports have surfaced that management is looking to trim the Andre the Giant battle royal down to only 20 participants. That makes it harder for the likes of Finn Balor, Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens to get spots.

Sami Zayn in NXT

Those that have been waiting to see Sami Zayn be called up to the main roster in WWE, are possibly in for a bit of a disappointment. Reports have surfaced that management is planning a long title feud between he and Kevin Owens, one that is expected to stretch out over several months. If that were the case, then Zayn would be stuck down in NXT for much of 2015. Others in the developmental program might skip ahead of him in line for a promotion.

Adrian Neville not called up

When he dropped the NXT Heavyweight Championship to Sami Zayn, many were under the impression that Adrian Neville was going to be immediately called up to the main roster in WWE. However, that does not appear to be the case, as the former champion is scheduled for the weekly developmental television show until at least the middle of January. That has led to speculations that he could be called up in time to be one of the Royal Rumble participants.
