Some concerns have been risen in regards to the push that Rusev has been receiving in WWE. Right now, management is obviously stalling with him. The Russian sympathizer has not been thrown into a feud and has been working random matches against Dean Ambrose, R Truth, Roman Reigns, Justin Gabriel and Ryback. The belief is that the creative department did have a good story for him and will wait for the Royal Rumble.

Through social media, Ryback revealed to fans that he was denied entry to a WWE live event in his hometown of Las Vegas over the weekend. He also stated that he purchased a ticket, yet was not allowed in. For clarification, this is simply a matter of him portraying his character and preserving the story line of him being fired by The Authority. The Big Guy is expected back on television soon. He is also scheduled for the Royal Rumble.

One of the ideas being tossed around backstage in WWE is to keep Rusev out of the big Royal Rumble match. Some are leaning towards putting him in a singles match at the pay per view against Ryback, where the big Russian sympathizer would pick up another victory against a strong opponent. The belief is that management does not want him to suffer a loss in a battle royal, as he is not slated to win the event. A singles match would prevent that.
