During Monday Night Raw, Jerry Lawler made a comment about how Ryback isn't smart enough to know the two directions that an elevator can go. That prompted a respon from Ryback on Twitter, where the WWE star mentioned about Miss Kitty, Lawler's former wife.
It appears that Ryback might have reached his boiling point with all of the online rumors regarding his situation in WWE. He has posted several messages on Twitter, most of which were deleted shortly afterwards, about his potential release from the company.
While management was not planning on giving him a big push or anything, there are some concerns that Curtis Axel is going to be held back by his tag team partner Ryback, who has secured himself a spot in the WWE dog house for a variety of reasons.
While he is accepting full responsibility for the incident in the ring, Ryback is receiving more backstage heat in WWE for giving Dolph Ziggler a concussion while taping a match before Monday Night Raw this week. He was already in trouble for other things.
The backstage heat on Ryback still remains in tact, as there have been no plans discussed to push him up past the lower mid card level that he has been placed into. Management will more than likely keep him in a tag team with Curtis Axel as punishment.
"Say what you want about him and not like him. Believe me, I have and I will take some of that back because the guy is a really good guy. He is a cool dude and you can see why he's in the position he's in because he's a hard worker and he really gives to his fans."

"I think I'm still trying to figure out the reasons between Natalya Neidhart and I. It's something we're both trying to iron out and to be very honest with you, I kind of don't get it. As strong, beautiful, powerful women like the WWE Divas are, we should always support each other and always uplift each other."
- Summer Rae discussing backstage heat within Total Divas
"To see CM Punk, I just think that he was backed into a corner, he got a little frustrated and he took his ball and went home. I think one of two things will happen. I think Vince McMahon will fly out to Chicago or wherever he is, work some Jedi mind trick and convince him to come back, or maybe he will think through the process - and he's got a lot of years left in the tank - and never leave money on the table when you can go ahead and make that money."
- Steve Austin discussing the backstage heat situation in WWE
"The more I read online about the daily drama in various pro wrestling organizations makes me happy that I'm not engaged full time in that world. Don't get me wrong, I will always be a fan and support the genre but dealing with today's athletes is a taxing, never ending saga. It was somewhat simpler in the old days but certainly far from not having issues in which to address. I'm of the belief that many of today's issues have to do with the generation that many of the talents have grown up in and how they have been parented."
"Bischoff was a genius. He could be an asshole at times. I had an amazing relationship with him. We don't even talk today, which is so f---ed up to me, and it's his fault, because he sucks on the phone. We don't even have a relationship anything like we had, but at the time, it was a real relationship... (Now) he doesn't even return a phone call, which is so obnoxious."
"And I really wish Edge were still here. It killed me when I was out injured and he ended up having that final match with Alberto Del Rio. He was there while I was with the Nexus and he was just such a joy to be around. He's a good human being and just knew so much. He was always helping. Its guys like that that I wish were around still."
- Ryback on the retirement of Edge
"People will say Ryback - 'What would Warrior have been like with Ryback?' Or Goldberg. I know why they say those things - because of the intensity and body look, the aggression, the power. Those kind of matches tend to be f**king stinkers, you know? You want to work with somebody who's got a different style. Wrestling is more than just being big."
"I have a great amount of respect for Bill Goldberg, but I'm not going to beat around the bush and say I wanna be best friends with the guy. I'd like to face him in the ring. I've heard him say he's not happy with comments I've made about him, if he has a problem with it let's settle it at Wrestlemania."
