New Day wins tag titles

It appears that the rumors about a New Day push are true. Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston were able to capture the belt from Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro. Of course, Kingston generated some heel heat for the trio by grabbing a handful of trunks to secure the pin fall. They were jeered by the audience because of their new tactics, which means that the booking is working. Natalya and Xavier Woods were heavily involved.

It is now looking more and more likely that it did happen, as Jim Ross himself has confirmed that he saw Joe earlier in the day. TNA and Wrestle 1 partnership

There are rumors floating around that the partnership between TNA and Wrestle 1 has come to an end. Much of the speculation stems from the fact that Seiya Sanada was released from his contract before it was set to expire in July. Interesting enough, Sanada has opted to remain in the United States instead of going back to work in Japan. Nothing has been confirmed from either the Great Muta or Dixie Carter at this point in time.

WWE banning moves

Due to the extremely negative reaction from the internet wrestling community, WWE has been denying the rumors that they are banning the Curb Stomp. The front office has been telling people that they wanted Rollins to have a move that can be done on anyone. Ironically, the Curb Stomp also fit that bill.

Taz leaves TNA

Looks like Taz and TNA could not work things out after all. The longtime commentator has decided to walk away from the company that he has been working with since 2009. He is said to be leaving on good terms.

Jay Brisco booking ROH

As a sign of how desperately ROH wanted the Briscoes to stick around instead of leaving for WWE, there are rumors floating around right now that the front office has offered Jay Briscoe the lead booking position, which would enable him to keep he and his brother looking strong for this next portion of their careers. Combine that position of power with a higher salary than what the competition was offering, and you can understand why he stayed.

He also stated that there is no truth to the rumors of him having beef with Vince McMahon.
