Earlier in the year, rumors popped up that Dolph Ziggler was going to leave WWE when his contract expired sometimes in 2015. The speculation is heating up again because Court Bauer, a former writer in the company, addressed the story. He stated that Ziggler could be following in the same path that John Morrison took. Morrison allowed his deal to expire because he was not getting a push.

Sheamus winning IC title

Initially, WWE had planned on giving Sheamus a big heel push so that he could challenge Roman Reigns for the world heavyweight championship. However, those plans were scrapped, and we now have a heel champion in Seth Rollins. The front office knew that there was only so much they could push the Celtic Warrior before he hit the ceiling. Well, rumors are floating around now that they are going to give him the Intercontinental Championship to work with.

There have been rumors floating around for weeks now that Rosa Mendes has some backstage heat on her. Her union with Adam Rose has led to further speculation. The front office isn't interested in pushing Rose, so that was not their intention when they created this on screen relationship. The belief is that management wants Rosa to be forced to wear something humiliating on television each. That might be their form of punishment for her.

It appears that the rumors about a New Day push are true. Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston were able to capture the belt from Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro. Of course, Kingston generated some heel heat for the trio by grabbing a handful of trunks to secure the pin fall. They were jeered by the audience because of their new tactics, which means that the booking is working. Natalya and Xavier Woods were heavily involved.

While it initially bothered him pretty badly, rumors have it that Roman Reigns has been handling the boos from live audiences pretty well now. It actually shows in his face if you pay close enough attention. The belief is that WWE has reassured him that they are going to be sticking with him as a main event performer. The front office really wants him to do well because they devoted a lot of resources in pushing him over the last two years.

There are speculations floating around that WWE is doing an about face with the New Day stable and are actually considering a push for the trio. Rumors were started when the official company website published an article where it suggested that management might bring back the Freebird Rule, which would enable Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston to share the tag team championship. It could just be a tease from the writers.

Naomi heel turn

Earlier in the year, there were talks that WWE was going to turn Naomi into a heel so that they can give her some momentum for a push through the divas division. Rumors have now surfaced that those plans were shelved because producers of Total Divas would much rather focus on a story line that shows friction between she and Natalya. The belief is that part of the reason why the tag team titles were switched was to help add drama to this story.

It looks like those rumors about Kevin Owens being given a quick push by WWE were true. He is now the new NXT Heavyweight Champion after the latest Takeover event. The title change took place because the referee stopped the match. He feared for the safety of Sami Zayn, who had taken numerous power bombs from Owens. Since the pin never happened, Zayn still remains strong, and the feud should be able to continue just fine.

Those that watched the latest episode of Monday Night Raw saw that Rikishi was going to be next performer to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame during Wrestlemania weekend. Rumors have surfaced that a big reason why he is being honored is because management wanted to emphasized the legendary Samoan roots in the business. It would be a method for them to promote the fact that Roman Reigns was being pushed as a top guy.

Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler are safe in their positions, but there are rumors that WWE isn't completely sold on Byron Saxton just yet. Fortunately for him, there are people backstage who love his personality, so he will have some in his corner when push comes to shove.
