Initially, WWE had planned on giving Sheamus a big heel push so that he could challenge Roman Reigns for the world heavyweight championship. However, those plans were scrapped, and we now have a heel champion in Seth Rollins. The front office knew that there was only so much they could push the Celtic Warrior before he hit the ceiling. Well, rumors are floating around now that they are going to give him the Intercontinental Championship to work with.

For those of you that are still in denial about WWE banning the curb stomp finishing move, the company has outed themselves once again. This time, they have edited the big moment in the main event where Seth Rollins uses that move on Roman Reigns to win the world heavyweight championship. The clip shows him getting ready for the move, but then the front office edited the scene and replaced it with a shot of the live audience instead.

Fans attending WWE live events this upcoming weekend might be in for a bit of disappointment if they were looking forward to see John Cena and Randy Orton. The two of them have been pulled from the road. Management is going to try to supplement the show by having Seth Rollins defending the heavyweight championship against Roman Reigns on one tour. The other will be headlined by Rusev, Dean Ambrose and Ryback.

There are those in WWE that are already second guessing the decision to have Big Show winning the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal at Wrestlemania. He has not exactly done much with the trophy since then. His feud with Roman Reigns would have worked out just fine without the thing being involved. Rumors have it that a main source of discontent about the situation is that it would have better served someone like Damien Sandow.

Just as a recap, here are all the winners from Extreme Rules 2015. Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston captured the tag team championship in WWE. John Cena, Seth Rollins and Nikki Bella all retained their respective belts at the pay per view. Other winners include Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler and Roman Reigns. During the kickoff match, Adrian Neville was given a surprising victory over a five time former Intercontinental Champion.

In a bout that ended up being much more entertaining than expected, Roman Reigns defeated Big Show in a Last Man Standing match at Extreme Rules. They each hit very creative spots, which was a perfect fit for the type of gimmick that they were working. WWE fans actually started getting behind Reigns because they were so excited by what they were seeing. End came when Reigns hit a spear on Show from one announce table to the other.
April 26, 2015
Due mainly to the negative response from fans, WWE has been forced to keep Roman Reigns away from the top spot. That is the reason why he is stuck in a feud with the Big Show at the moment. At one point in time, management had plans for Reigns to work a stall program with Kane. That feud is most likely to happen if they change their minds about having Reigns work a triple threat title match with Seth Rollins and Randy Orton at Payback.

While WWE has done a solid job of trying to make us believe that Randy Orton has a chance of walking away with the world heavyweight championship at Extreme Rules, the current plan consists of Seth Rollins retaining the belt. He more than likely will be cheating to get that done. Since the front office doesn't want to do a straight up rematch, the belief is that Roman Reigns will be thrown into the mix at Payback in a triple threat match.
April 21, 2015
Since WWE does not have anything written in stone for Roman Reigns right now, they are going to be stalling his push at Extreme Rules. He'll definitely get a match on the pay per view because they want him to remain in front of the cameras. However, it will more than likely just be a filler segment. The talk right now is that he will be teamed up with Ryback, and the two of them will face Big Show and Kane in a tag team match.
