Undertaker
On Monday Night Raw, it was announced that Undertaker was going to be making his first appearance on WWE Main Event this week. While it may seem odd for a main event guy of his status to be on that television show, the belief is that it is being done so that Vince McMahon can tout the secondary and tertiary shows during contract negotiations with the networks.
March 19, 2014
Vince McMahon
An interesting stat about the WWE Network has surfaced this week. Vince McMahon decided to air WWE Main Event live on his new subscription service, yet ratings for when the episode aired on ION actually increased from the week before, leading many within the company to believe that fans might prefer to watch things on television instead.
March 7, 2014
Vince McMahon
WWE Main Event is looking like it will be moved to the WWE Network soon, as the television deal between Vince McMahon and ION is set to expire in a month. Reports have surfaced that the network is not interested in renewing the deal. Since WWE is currently negotiating a lucrative new television deal for Monday Night Raw and Smackdown, other shows are being pushed into the background for the time being.

Big Daddy V
During the start of the latest episode of WWE Main Event, there was a quick mention about the death of Big Daddy V. The company also added a quick tribute to the upcoming episode of Smackdown as well. Triple H
While he has lost a bit of momentum since Royal Rumble 2014, there are still plans in WWE to give Roman Reigns a big push. Since the Shield pulled a face turn recently, there are talks of elevating Reigns to the point where he can be booked in a match against Triple H at Summerslam 2014. The hope there is that HHH can make him into a star by giving him a memorable match.

Daniel Bryan
As seen on Monday Night Raw this week, WWE is teasing the fans with a potential feud between the Shield and Evolution. There are talks that Batista, Randy Orton, Triple H, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins could be utilized in a big main event match at Extreme Rules 2014. WWE still has to decide on what to do with Daniel Bryan at the pay per view, though.
April 9, 2014
Dean Ambrose
WWE.com is reporting that Billy Gunn suffered a serious injury during his match against Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 30. The report reveals that he was coughing up blood backstage after taking the triple power bomb from the Shield at the end of the match. No word yet on whether this is a story line or a legitimate injury.
April 7, 2014
Roman Reigns
At Wrestlemania 30, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns completely destroyed Kane, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn in a six man tag team match. The Shield captured the win over the Authority with a triple power bomb on both members of the New Age Outlaws at the same time. That led to an easy pin fall victory for the Shield at Wrestlemania.

Roman Reigns
"You know what, I tell him this and we joke about it, but the smartest thing WWE did was put him with me and Dean Ambrose. Because when we met him, he started from scratch. Granted he's got a whole family history in the wrestling business, but he's a football player. He's an athlete and he's coachable, but like he gets it. Like he got it quick and he understood right away what we were doing. I think putting him with myself and Ambrose, who had the wealth of experience and the all the knowledge and traveling the road. We're in a car all the time, we're on the planes together, we're having the matches together. He was just able to soak up that information we were giving out like a sponge and you can see the difference. He was great when we came in, but look at him now and he's a completely different performer. It was the smartest thing they ever did, putting him with us." - Seth Rollins discussing the backstage reason why Roman Reigns was placed with the Shield
April 6, 2014
Billy Gunn
While plans are constantly being changed throughout the week, WWE currently has Kane, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in the opening match at Wrestlemania 30. The belief is that the audience in New Orleans should give these guys a nice pop since all six guys are fairly over.
April 5, 2014
Roman Reigns
While the company has decided to drop the idea of giving him a high profile match at Wrestlemania 30, WWE officials are still interested in pushing Roman Reigns. The company simply opted to throw him into a last minute match because they were unable to figure out a way to give him a better story line and opponent to work with on the pay per view.
April 2, 2014
Seth Rollins
When the picture of the four of them together initially spread across the internet, there was not a lot of details as to why John Cena was standing in the ring united with Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. It has now been revealed that the four of them teamed up in a dark match main event at the Smackdown taping against Kane, Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan.
March 27, 2014
John Cena
A rather interesting picture of John Cena and the Shield together in the ring. For the longest time there, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins spent their days in WWE by attacking Cena at every turn.
March 25, 2014
Dean Ambrose
Since management was having trouble trying to figure out where to put everyone, a last minute decision was made to do a six man tag team match so that WWE could get Kane, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins on the Wrestlemania 30 card. Reigns initially had a much bigger role on the pay per view.
March 25, 2014
Dean Ambrose
Since the company is worried about ruining the momentum of a potential star, there has been a lot of changes discussed backstage on how to handle the Roman Reigns push. Right now, WWE feels that it would be better if Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose turned on Reigns, as opposed to the other way around, because it would get the fans behind Reigns more.
March 22, 2014
Billy Gunn
In a sign that they still have a good amount of backstage power, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn have been pushing management to let them work with the Shield before WWE has Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins going their separate ways. It looks like the company will be giving them that chance at Wrestlemania 30 in the Kane story line.
March 21, 2014
Kane
While a lot of fans are under the assumption that Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are now good guys, their face turn is actually temporary. It is only designed to get them a match against Kane and two mystery partners at Wrestlemania 30. The long term plan is for Ambrose and Rollins to remain as heels, while Reigns becomes a big face.
March 21, 2014
Daniel Bryan
A list was made internally within the company about which five wrestlers are going to be leading WWE after Wrestlemania 30. John Cena and Randy Orton were obvious choices. While some did not want him on there, Daniel Bryan made the list. Despite suffering a dip in popularity, Sheamus is on the list and will be pushed. Roman Reigns, the fan favorite is the fifth guy.
March 13, 2014
Roman Reigns
When a professional wrestler becomes popular, often times fans will try to get to know as much about the performer as possible. A lot of fans lately have been discovering that Roman Reigns has a public intoxication arrest on his record. However, it happened a long time ago, so WWE does not consider that a big of a deal. His push is not in jeopardy.
March 13, 2014
Goldust
In a rather peculiar move, WWE removed the match featuring Roman Reigns, who is their rising star, Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes and Goldust from the Hulu broadcast of Monday Night Raw this week. That comes as a surprise to many, as the Shield is viewed as one of the focal points on the show. It also surprised people that Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso were considered more of a priority this week.

Seth Rollins
A video of the Shield Summit, where Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins got together in the middle of the ring during Smackdown to talk through their issues heading into Wrestlemania 30.
March 9, 2014
Alexander Rusev
While he has been eager to make his return to the company, Evan Bourne does not appear to be much of a priority for WWE at this point. After Wrestlemania 30, the focus will be on pushing guys like Roman Reigns and Antonio Cesaro. Alexander Rusev is set to make his debut, so management will be focusing on him as well. Not a lot of room for Bourne in this scenario.
