MITB winner cooled off

When Sheamus cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase at Survivor Series and stole the WWE Heavyweight Championship away from Roman Reigns, fans complained that the Celtic Warrior did not have enough momentum for the role. However, it now appears that management purposely wants to cool off the MITB winner so that it would feel more like a surprise when they do get elevated into the top spot.

Sheamus wins WWE title

In case you missed the Survivor Series last night, Sheamus cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and captured the WWE Heavyweight Championship just shortly after Roman Reigns defeated Dean Ambrose in the tournament finals. Well, reports have now surfaced that the decision to do that was made just a couple of hours before the pay per view started. Management was still debating the idea all day long.

WWE not concerned about Rollins

Reports have surfaced that WWE officials were not panicking when Seth Rollins went down with a torn ACL injury. Though they view him as an important piece of the product, losing Rollins is not on the same level as losing The Rock or Steve Austin to an injury. Plus, the front office already had made plans for Roman Reigns to take over the top spot at the Survivor Series anyways.

Those plans, however, may now be in jeopardy because of the tournament. Management knows that they need to boost a heel into the top position to replace Rollins for the next nine months.
