During an interview with Fox Sports, Roman Reigns confirmed that he was indeed chosen to win the world heavyweight championship at Wrestlemania. He confirmed that management informed him of their decision the night before. That means that the change of plans happened on the following day. WWE has a history of changing things up late in the game.

Last minute changes have been made by the sports book. Brock Lesnar is now favored to retain the heavyweight championship against Roman Reigns, and the reason for that is because he signed a new contract with WWE. Triple H is now favored to defeat Sting in his Wrestlemania debut match. No word on why those particular odds did a complete shift, but the theory floating around is that it is because so many were betting on the WCW legend.

Despite the new contract signed by Brock Lesnar, the sports books are still listing Roman Reigns as the favorite to win the main event of Wrestlemania. Their belief is that WWE has already pulled the trigger on his superstar push, so they are just going to go through with it. The front office can always put the heavyweight championship belt back around the waist of Lesnar at a later date. Reigns is a -210 odd, while Lesnar is +160.

The sports books have made their predictions for Fast Lane. The odds makers feel that Rusev is going to come out victorious against John Cena. They also feel that WWE will end the pay per view with Roman Reigns standing victoriously over the beloved Daniel Bryan. Dean Ambrose is also being predicted to take the Intercontinental Championship from Wade Barrett. None of the other titles on the linee are expected to exchange hands.
