There were some concerns over Roman Reigns after Monday Night Raw. Aside from requiring a couple of stitches to close a cut above his eye, the WWE medical staff is afraid that he might have suffered a concussion. Management needs him healthy for a big push at Wrestlemania 30.
The record for most elimination in the Royal Rumble belongs to Kane, who once took out eleven performers. There are talks that Roman Reigns could be given the distinction of beating that tonight at Royal Rumble 2014. He is expected to be pushed heavily during the match.
While WWE wants to rush the Roman Reigns push, it does not appear that his rumored replacement, Mason Ryan, will be showing up before Wrestlemania 30. The split may still take place before the big event, but the new addition will be saved for afterwards.
While it seems all but certain that Roman Reigns will be receiving a big push during the Royal Rumble match, there are many that believe that WWE will do the same for Big E Langston as well. The company wants him to look like a big star.
The current plan as of right now has Roman Reigns being given a major push during the Royal Rumble match in January, where he is expected to eliminate several WWE performers that night.
The goal all along for the Survivor Series was to feature Roman Reigns and make him appear more like a main event level performer, which is why the main reason WWE put together that tag team match.
Despite the tease on Monday Night Raw this week, the Wyatt Family and the Shield are not expected to feud any time soon. Some within WWE are wanting to save that program for Wrestlemania 30.
Triple H was visibly upset during Monday Night Raw when Vince McMahon sent the Shield out early to disrupt his segment with the Big Show.
The Roman Reigns baby face turn might not actually take place for several more months, as WWE wants to wait until he is ready.
The original plans for Monday Night Raw were to have CM Punk and Daniel Bryan entering into a feud together against the Shield.

With CM Punk abruptly leaving the company, WWE needed someone to replace him at the upcoming live events that he was scheduled for. Sheamus has been chosen as the replacement, and he will be working handicap matches against Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.

"I'll literally be getting dressed or something, I turn the corner, and WHAM there's the cameras. 'Ah, they got me again.' It's like Where's Waldo, you never know where they're gonna be. And for me when I'm backstage, preparing, getting ready, it's not something I wanna be bothered with. So sometimes you'll just randomly hear guys cursing, like that's gonna get them off of the show, like they can't use that scene or something because, 'there's that guy, he's just cussing in the background. A lot of guys just, they all just duck their heads and walk off. So that's something that we deal with but that's the world of entertainment."

"I heard him say a good line, he didn't make a play he made 'the play', which in his own right, that's awesome, I enjoyed that. But his whole remarks about Michael Crabtree being mediocre, he kinda just buried himself to me. You're the best cornerback in the game and they're putting you on a mediocre receiver? You only made one play on a mediocre receiver? Which I think he, if he understood the psychology of smack talk, he would build up that receiver and then put himself over even more. You know, 'I'm going against this all-pro bad ass wide receiver, but guess what, I'm the best corner back in the game. I'll lock down anybody."

"I don't know about the 'face' of the company. That's kind of being used right now. I'd like to come up with something a little more fresh. You know Randy Orton is doing that whole 'face' of the company thing. I think I'm better than him so if we can get a one upper situation, that's---maybe the 'backbone' of the company. Maybe the 'balls' of the company. Something cool like that, you know? I don't know about the 'face' of the company. Maybe the "man" of the company. That sounds about right."
WWE has a poll on their website, asking fans which member of the Shield do they think will win the heavyweight championship first. Seth Rollins is surprisingly in the lead at 41%, while Roman Reigns has 33% and Dean Ambrose has 26%.
"I've never been bothered about what a fan thinks. That's their prerogative, that's their opinion. Everybody can see what I am doing in ring, but people will still criticize me. I am a student of the game, so I'm working on things every day. If it's not physical it's mental and cutting promos is mental. Anytime I'm thinking about wrestling, I'm going to run thoughts through my head to improve myself in all areas."
CM Punk defeated all three members of the Shield during the opening match of TLC. He was able to pin Dean Ambrose after Roman Reigns accidentally hit his teammate with the spear. Match was entertaining, and the crowd was lively.
During a recent interview with the Houston Press, Roman Reigns was asked who he would like to hit the spear on that he has not already yet done so. He quickly replied that Triple H would be an interesting victim.
