For a long time there, Vince McMahon was accused of not doing enough to protect his performers in the ring. Whenever an incident with a fan would take place, WWE generally did not go after the individual with their strong legal department. That opened the door for others to jump the rails or throw things into the ring. After the latest incident with Roman Reigns at Night of Champions, management has now decided to add more security to live events.

At Night of Champions, Oscar Ramirez hopped the rails and entered the ring to stand behind his hero, Roman Reigns. When asked why he decided to do that, he gave a bit of a delusional answer. The formerly homeless man stated that he was doing it for the WWE Universe, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense to sane people. Ramirez only served 3 days in jail because he was released early on good behavior.

A post on Twitter of the official mugshot for Oscar Ramirez, the 37 year old WWE fanatic that decided to jump the rails at Night of Champions and enter the ring to stand with Roman Reigns, who apparently is his hero. Ramirez was sentenced to ten days in jail after pleading guilty immediately.

Members of the internet wrestling community already don't like Roman Reigns, and now, some backstage in WWE might not like him either. During a recent interview, he mocked performers who named their moves. Sheamus was specifically mentioned as someone that has lots of unique names in his move set. Reigns stated that he refused to be a nerd and sticks with the tradition move names.

As a sign that WWE might actually be very serious this time around about the security of their performers, a jail sentence has been handed to the fan that entered the ring illegally on Night of Champions to stand behind Roman Reigns. Sadly, the intruder was a 37 year old grown man and not a teenager. Oscar Ramirez has pleaded guilty to the charges and will be spending ten days in jail.

Fan intrusion has become a common occurrence in WWE this year. It has gotten bad enough that management released a statement. The company is now going to pursue the highest possible prosecution against people who violate the rules.

Some more fuel was added to the fire today, as it has now been confirmed that the former world heavyweight champion is indeed backstage at the pay per view. His return is expected to take place soon.

During a recent interview, Roman Reigns revealed that he hates working with ladders in wrestling matches. He said that he is fine with hitting people with objects and being hit with them himself. However, ladders are often unpredictable, and serious injuries have taken place in the ring due to that object. Interestingly enough, Reigns has worked in a Money in the Bank match before and will probably do so again in the future.
