On August 22, 2015, Alex Shelley is going to be making his return to ROH. That bit of news has excited the fan base. However, the former X Division Champion revealed that he is simply going to be back on a very short term basis. Shelley stated that he would be representing New Japan that night, so it could just be a joint show.

Nick Jackson and Matt Jackson are holding the IWGP Jr Tag Team Championship, while Lethal is holding the world championship and television championship in ROH. The three of them worked a big pay per view for Ring of Honor this weekend.

Both TNA and ROH saw an increase in viewership this week. A lot of fans are drawn to the idea that they can get a ton of wrestling all in the same night.

During a recent interview, Christopher Daniels stated that he is interested in following in their footsteps. However, he revealed that he is currently contractually obligated to ROH.

While the company will never come out and admit it, WWE is letting upcoming wrestlers know that they will lose an opportunity to be signed if they decide to go through TNA or ROH first. Vince McMahon wants new talent to not be associated with either of those companies. Big name veterans are the exception, of course.

As some of you already know, WWE is quite upset with ROH right now because they are releasing an action figure for Kevin Owens, who is being pushed as a major star. Well, it turns out that Ring of Honor had signed the deal with Owens well before he joined World Wrestling Entertainment. Nothing legally can be done about it now.

Earlier in the year, ROH announced that they were releasing a Kevin Owens action figure. That is not sitting very well with WWE officials because there is currently nothing that they can legally do about it. Ring of Honor will benefit financially from the fact that World Wrestling Entertainment will be pushing Owens as a top star for the next couple of years.

Even though he is under contract with WWE, he will honor his contract and work the tag team match with AJ Styles. It is being billed as his final appearance.

AJ Styles hates TNA

A lot of professional wrestling fans are under the assumption that AJ Styles hates TNA because he refuses to do business with them again. However, when asked about why he turned down the offer to make a brief return and be inducted into the hall of fame, Styles stated that the decision had nothing with how he feels towards the company. He stated that the reason why he opted against it was because his home is now in ROH and New Japan.
