Now that ROH is officially being dropped by Destination America, there are some rising concerns in TNA in regards to their television situation. Many believe that the network is ending their experiment with professional wrestling. They feel that Impact Wrestling will be canceled soon. Dixie Carter, however, is said to be working fervently to secure a new television contract with another network.

In a move that was expected by many, Destination America has decided to drop ROH from their television lineup. The network experimented with professional wrestling, and it did not turn out as well as they had hoped because advertisers simply were not willing to pay big bucks for that particular demographic. Joe Koff announced that they were moving on to COMET, which is owned by Sinclair Broadcasting Group.

Over the summer, ROH hired Matt Myers Jr to oversee their marketing and branding. Apparently, things did not work out. Myers is leaving the company after less than six months on the job. Joe Koff has yet to make an official announcement on the departure. It has long been felt that Ring of Honor has done a good job of marketing. Their excellent in ring product should have drawn in more fans by now.

A back injury forced AJ Styles to the sidelines for several weeks, but the former world heavyweight champion has decided that now is the time to return to the ring. Styles worked a match for New Japan this week. He is expected to head back to the United States soon to work a pay per view for ROH. Styles had previously been forced to miss a couple of television taping with the company.

Some further details have been revealed about the contracts that the Young Bucks signed with ROH. First and foremost, it is only a one year deal. That means that the popular tag team can become free agents again next summer. The deal is only exclusive in the United States, with the exception that the Bucks be allowed to work for PWG, a promotion that they really enjoy working with.

Styles is deal with a sciatic nerve problem, a condition that is made worse by bumping in the ring during a wrestling match. Though he could risk doing more damage, Styles has insisted that he is going to continue his wrestling career. Styles is expected to work a big show for ROH soon.

Earlier in the week, the Young Bucks teased fans through social media by revealing that they have signed with a promotion but opted to avoid saying which company it was. It has now been revealed that ROH has signed the massively popular underground tag team to an exclusive deal. Though the deal is exclusive, keep in mind that Ring of Honor does have a working agreement with New Japan.

Through social media, the Young Bucks revealed to fans that they have signed a new contract. Of course, to make things fun, the brothers did not bother to reveal which promotion that they are signing with. Instead, they listed out Lucha Underground, WWE, ROH, TNA and New Japan. The belief is that the popular tandem has not signed with World Wrestling Entertainment because they have backstage heat there.
