Those that watched Battleground last night got to see a good amount of apron moves, including a particularly impressive splash by Big E Langston during the tag team championship match. Apparently, WWE has been instructing their performers to do more of that. While more details are not available yet, there is a belief that it has something to do with ROH.

Since there was so much confusion within the internet wrestling community over the situation, ROH decided to release an official statement in regards to Samoa Joe working the television taping on June 20, 2015. Even though he is under contract with WWE, he will honor his contract and work the tag team match with AJ Styles. It is being billed as his final appearance.

Since he was such a big building block for the company for years, TNA wanted to bring back AJ Styles for a hall of fame induction ceremony. He was also offered the chance to work a top billed match at Slammiversary. Unfortunately, neither of that will be happening as Styles has rejected the offer. His priorities right now are said to be ROH and New Japan. An induction later on has not been ruled out by either side just yet.

During a recent interview, Kevin Owens revealed that Al Snow is not a very big fan of ROH. He mentioned that Snow once attended one of the shows when Owens was still working for the promotion. While he did not hear the words himself, Owens stated that the fans in the audience had informed him that Snow basically ripped every single match that he watched. Snow has a history of being against the independent style of wrestling.

A very big moment is happening in ROH. There is going to be an epic match between Jay Lethal and Jay Briscoe on June 19, 2015 in New York City. After a very long buildup to this moment, both the World Heavyweight Championship and World Television Championship will be on the line, with one man walking away as a double champion. Ring of Honor is banking big time on this pay per view being able to draw in new fans.

Apparently, ROH wants a lot of international talent for their upcoming series of matches in Philadelphia and Toronto. In addition to Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kazuchika Okada, the company has now secured the services of Tetsuya Naito. For those of you that do not remember, the veteran performer worked a couple of matches for TNA, including a handicap match against Kevin Nash on Impact Wrestling. No word yet on who he will be working with.

During the middle of May, New Japan and ROH are teaming up to put on a couple of shows. Two of them will be in Philadelphia at the old ECW arena, while the other two will be held in Toronto. To help make those events even more special, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kazuchika Okada will be featured on the card. No word yet on what matches they are being booked for, but the safe bet is that Ring of Honor will use their top stars against them.
