While some fans online have taken to blaming the veteran performer for not being more careful in the ring, there appears to be no backstage heat on Road Dogg right now for the spot in the steel cage match on Monday Night Raw, where Cody Rhodes injured himself while doing a moonsault off the top of the structure.
There are plans within TNA right now to have Rockstar Spud and Ethan Carter working as a tag team. People backstage feel that the two of them work very well together and have a better chance of connecting with the audience if they were to work as a unit.
While the backstage heat on Aksana has subsided over the last few months, some of it has returned this week, as a few people are blaming her for the eye injury that Naomi Knight suffered on Monday Night Raw this week, even though it was an accident.
John Gaburick, the former WWE executive who now has a lead role in TNA, reportedly has some backstage heat with Eric Young during one of the television tapings on the European tour. The two were arguing over the longevity of a spot filmed for Impact Wrestling.
In a sign that management isn't paying much attention to the guy, JTG has yet to be admonished for mentioning the backstage heat situation involving CM Punk on Twitter. The comments are still on there, even though WWE has been trying to keep word from getting out.
A lot of eyes will be tuned in to Comedy Central on February 12, as CM Punk is scheduled to make an appearance on a show called @midnight. Some believe that he might cancel the appearance since the host will more than likely be asking him about his backstage heat with WWE.
It appears that the story line and character development for Brutus Magnus is working, as fans have been booing him during the European tour. Many backstage were expecting him to receive cheers like Rockstar Spud has been receiving, but they're pleasantly surprised by the crowd reaction.
Another possible cause of the backstage heat between CM Punk and WWE is the fact that he did not want to do the job to Triple H at Wrestlemania 30. Punk felt that the company was going in that direction since he has refused to sign a contract extension with them.
There are two sides being formed backstage in WWE right now over the CM Punk situation. Some have backstage heat towards him because they feel that he was unprofessional in leaving the company in a jam. Others are applauding him for standing up to management because it's something that very few can do.

There will be a Lethal Lockdown match at TNA Lockdown 2014 this year. Team Dixie will consists of Ethan Carter, Bobby Roode, James Storm and Rockstar Spud. They will face Team MVP, which will include MVP, Gunner, Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards.
Many are wondering who will be the first opponent for MVP in TNA will be, and it looks like Rockstar Spud has been given that honor. Earlier today, the two of them filmed a match for the episode of Impact Wrestling set to air on February 13.
One of the reasons why fans were protesting the backstage heat incident with CM Punk at WWE NXT is because security was taking away any and all signs that were related to the superstar. Fans felt like they were being censored, so they retaliated by chanting for Punk the entire night.

A lot of fans are upset about the backstage heat situation with CM Punk, and they decided to let management know about it. The audience at the WWE NXT show this week hijacked the event by constantly chanting Punk's name throughout the night.
"To see CM Punk, I just think that he was backed into a corner, he got a little frustrated and he took his ball and went home. I think one of two things will happen. I think Vince McMahon will fly out to Chicago or wherever he is, work some Jedi mind trick and convince him to come back, or maybe he will think through the process - and he's got a lot of years left in the tank - and never leave money on the table when you can go ahead and make that money."

British star Rockstar Spud managed to gain some attention during his segment on Impact Wrestling with Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards from Scotland tonight, as the relatively new TNA star became a trend on Twitter. Fans also made the show itself a trend as well.
"I really am living the dream and returning to the UK, whatever the reaction, really tops its off. It has been a whirlwind year or so really but I can’t think of a better way to top it off than with this tour and getting to wrestle for TNA in front of my hometown crowd. It might be a cliché but it really is a dream come true, I have wanted to be a wrestler for so long and now being able to do it, is just amazing.”

When Barbarian and Warlord left the NWA while in the midst of a high profile feud against the Road Warriors, a lot of people were puzzled. It was later discovered that the Powers of Pain had backstage heat with the company because they did not want to work a series of scaffold matches.

There are those backstage that were disappointed with Royal Rumble 2014, as many feel that there were not enough highlight spots during the match. Kofi Kingston was praised for doing his best to produce memorable moments, but very few others were able to stand out. Jamie Noble, the agent in charge of the match, has backstage heat because of that.
For a while there, Aksana had some backstage heat on her in WWE because of her performances during the European tour. However, a lot of that heat has died down tremendously, as she has slowly received more television time. Aksana is also a candidate to join Total Divas next season.
Michael Cole will not be on commentary for Smackdown this week. Instead, JBL will be joined on television by Josh Mathews. No word yet on why Cole did not work the event, but there does not appear to be any backstage heat from WWE towards their long time commentator.
While many people are already aware that Dolph Ziggler is being punished by WWE over the last several months, not many are aware as to the exact reason why. Rumor is that he has backstage heat with Randy Orton over comments he made during an interview around the time of Summerslam.
Apparently, Triple H has played a big part in helping out Ric Flair over the last year. When the family confronted Flair about his issues, it was HHH who was on the phone during the family intervention. He informed the former NWA champion that WWE would cut him off if he did not get things together.
