Earlier in the month, WWE fans were excited to hear that Steve Austin was going to be showing up on an episode of Monday Night Raw. Even though management has been advertising his appearance, the former world heavyweight champion revealed on social media that he is not scheduled to be on television. He is only attending the event to film his podcast interview with Brock Lesnar.

During a conference call with the media, Triple H was asked about when WWE would crown their first black world champion. Showing how adept he is with public relations, he quickly dismissed the question by noting that The Rock and Booker T have already accomplished that. He wondered out loud why people do not remember two of the more recognizable names in the history of professional wrestling.

Even though they are both well established in the mainstream media, WWE continues to spend a good amount of resource in figuring out new and better ways of marketing The Rock and John Cena. While the internet wrestling community is begging for the focus to be placed on new stars, management knows that the proven commodities are the ones that are going to bring in the most revenue to the company.

Even though he routinely bashes WWE for becoming a more kid friendly product, Marty Jannetty has been campaigning through social media for a hall of fame induction. A solo induction is unlikely to happen as his run was not all that memorable as a singles performer. On June 22, 2015, WWE will be hosting Monday Night Raw in Indianapolis. The event has now become something that wrestling fans should not miss out on. A rather interesting situation is developing through social media. Goldberg called out Frank Shamrock and challenged him to a fight. The former WCW star has been doing extensive MMA training for quite some time now, and it is being said that he will eventually get in the ring, even though he is now 48 years old. The belief is that he called out Shamrock because he was promoting the GLORY 21 kickboxing event that took place on Friday.
