During a conference call with the media, Triple H was asked about when WWE would crown their first black world champion. Showing how adept he is with public relations, he quickly dismissed the question by noting that The Rock and Booker T have already accomplished that. He wondered out loud why people do not remember two of the more recognizable names in the history of professional wrestling.

Rumors have surfaced that there are those within WWE that are pushing management to set up a huge match between Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. The former is set to be a free agent soon and has already stated that he is not in a rush to return to TNA. The latter needs a top level opponent to work against because his feud with the Undertaker has ran its course.

When WWE signed a deal with PEZ Candy to produce dispensers decorated with the likeness of professional wrestlers, they promised their business partner that they would include three of the biggest names in professional wrestling. John Cena, The Rock and Hulk Hogan were the chosen ones. Due to the recent controversy, however, Hogan has been replaced by management. Undertaker has been given the third slot.

Even though they are both well established in the mainstream media, WWE continues to spend a good amount of resource in figuring out new and better ways of marketing The Rock and John Cena. While the internet wrestling community is begging for the focus to be placed on new stars, management knows that the proven commodities are the ones that are going to bring in the most revenue to the company.

There is some concern within WWE over the roles that Triple H has been giving himself. Even though he was the right guy for the part because of his in ring abilities and name value, some questioned if he should have been the one to work with Sting in his debut match. When it comes to television ratings, Vince McMahon is probably one of the most paranoid people in the entertainment industry. As of right now, WWE still has The Rock penciled in for a big time match against Triple H at Wrestlemania. The reason why HHH is the opponent as opposed to someone like Brock Lesnar or even Seth Rollins is because management is really pushing to get Ronda Rousey to make an appearance at the pay per view. UFC won't allow her to wrestle, but they might be convinced to let her do an appearance at ringside.

Since the decision to add him to Hell in a Cell was made abruptly, Brock Lesnar is going to end up being paid more than what his current contract stipulates. The pay per view was not originally a part of the deal when it was signed earlier in the year. This will be a bonus payday for the former world heavyweight champion. WWE desperately wanted a strong month to draw in even more subscribers to their Network.

For the longest time now, fans have been trained to view Smackdown as a secondary show. That is going to be temporarily changing soon. The belief is that Vince McMahon is going to load up the show with big matches for the first few months after they move to the USA Network. There is a very good chance that John Cena is going to have to work on that show more frequently than normal. Undertaker and Brock Lesnar might even make appearances.
