That caused a lot of gullible fans to believe that Vince McMahon was giving up on the WWE Network. Rumors are false, as the article was filled with quite a bit of inaccuracies, including the statement that Cinadigm was the actual owner of the footage.

Despite losing millions and millions of dollars, Vince McMahon still has a way of generating hope among investors. WWE stock is currently on the rise, and the reported reason for that is because people think that the subscribers count for the WWE Network is expected to skyrocket since it has now been launched internationally. Management has not been promoting the international launch too hard for fear of being accused of misleading investors again.

They constantly mentioned the service, and they had several of their performers utilizing it to interact with the fans. WWE invested approximately $5000 into the company and signed a two year agreement. Stephanie McMahon was even on their board of directors. It looks like the deal is now over, as reports has surfaced that WWE was not interested in renewing the contract.

However, it looks like Vince McMahon and company are going to reduce that down to $12.99. Many felt that doubling the price would be too much for people, so the new price was agreed upon. In a very exciting match, Seth Rollins outlasted Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, Rob Van Dam and Jack Swagger to capture the briefcase at Money in the Bank 2014. WWE wants to continue the war between Ambrose and the Authority, so they had Kane coming out and providing assistance to Rollins. Despite the heel tactic to win the match, the Rollins victory was actually cheered by a good amount of fans.

Thanks to the help of Kane, Seth Rollins was able to climb the ladder uninterrupted and win the briefcase at Money in the Bank 2014. The Big Red Monster came to the ring and attacked Dean Ambrose to clear the path. Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger and Rob Van Dam were all laid out on the floor during the finale. WWE power couple Triple H and Stephanie McMahon came out afterwards to congratulate Rollins.

One of the ideas being tossed around backstage in WWE is to utilize Rob Van Dam as an opponent for Alexander Rusev, who has been tearing through the lower card division. RVD still has some name value and a bit of a connection with the audience, so he can provide the newcomer with some much needed credibility before heading into a feud with John Cena down the line.

At Payback 2014, Wade Barrett successfully defended the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Rob Van Dam after picking up the pin fall victory, thanks to the Bull Hammer. The performers placed some doubt in that finish when it appeared that Barrett had injured his arm while smashing into the corner post after RVD ducked away from the move outside the ring.

Antonio Cesaro then won the match by pinning Rob Van Dam after delivering his Neutralizer finishing move on top of a trash can. Zeb Colter and Paul Heyman had minimal involvement.
