Brie Bella
In order to help promote her upcoming match at Summerslam 2014 against Stephanie McMahon, Brie Bella is on the road this weekend for WWE. The company is sending her and Nikki Bella to the Wizard World event in San Antonio. Brie is still on a reduced schedule, as management wants to give her time to be with Daniel Bryan while he is still recovering from his neck surgery.

Wizard World is making its debut in San Antonio later this year, and the promoters have wisely secured one of the biggest names in WWE for the event. In August, John Cena will be heading down to Texas to make an appearance at the comic convention. The former world heavyweight champion has been scheduled to sign autographs and take pictures with fans for approximately four hours.

Big Show
Since professional wrestlers are now intertwined with comic book conventions, Big Show has just become the latest WWE star to sign on for a Wizard World appearance. He will be doing the event in Atlanta, which will be the first time it is being held in that city. Big Show will be signing autographs, taking pictures and answering questions with fans.

At the Wizard World Comic Con this weekend in Louisville, Randy Orton will be making an appearance at the event. The news is a bit interesting as this was the show that CM Punk was originally scheduled to be at before he walked out on WWE. Since a lot of wrestlers have been making a decent amount of money doing these conventions, Jake Roberts decided to contact the people in charge of the Wizard World Comic Con, as the WWE legend wanted to work the event in Chicago. He revealed on Twitter that he was rejected, as event promoters did not feel that he would be enough of a draw.

During a recent interview at Wizard World Comic Con, Sheamus was asked who he would like to face at Wrestlemania, and he was quick to choose Daniel Bryan, noting that the two of them deserve to have a match that last longer than a minute. Roberts was immediately taken to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Reports are saying that he has yet to regain consciousness. Some are saying that Roberts has double pneumonia. His lungs are said to be filled with fluid, and there may be something wrong with his brain as well.

There's been another casualty in WWE, thanks to the company losing millions of dollars this year. Tough Enough has been taken off of life support and has now been officially scrapped. Management was hoping to do another season of the show, and they were still trying to get Steve Austin to jump back on board. However, after severely reducing the available budget for Tough Enough, officials decided that it would not work out with the limited amount of funding.

He has retired from WWE now, but an injury is preventing him from working. Back issues have prompted the former world heavyweight champion to cancel an upcoming appearance in Denver. No word yet on whether or not it will be rescheduled.

The value of the WWE audience has taken yet another hit. There is already a good amount of advertisers who are avoiding the company because they do not feel that the demographics is desirable. Reports are now surfacing that Marvel purposely declined to advertise their Guardians of the Galaxy movie to the WWE audience, even though Batista could have drawn in some of the fans to the film. Since the studio was not interested, WWE opted to avoid promoting the movie, even though it could have benefited them internally.

It escalated a bit further when he deleted the comment from Twitter, which is something that he has done several times in the past.
