Hulk Hogan appreciation night

If you live in New York, tonight is a special occasion at Madison Square Garden. WWE is running a live event, and the theme of the show is Hulk Hogan appreciation night. That means that you will get multiple chances throughout the night to see the legend in person. Management is also bringing in his nWo partners, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, for the event. There are also rumors that Ric Flair and other performers could be brought in as well.

Tessa Blanchard tryout

Looks like those rumors about WWE having interest in Tessa Blanchard were true. The second generation star was one of 20 women that the company brought in for tryouts at the Performance Center last week. For those that do not know, she is the daughter of the legendary Tully Blanchard, who teamed with Arn Anderson, Ric Flair and Barry Windham in the Four Horsemen during the 1980s. She currently works on the independent circuit.

Ric Flair replacing Kevin Nash

Since management still wants to stack the deck on the next episode of Monday Night Raw, they have decided to call upon one of the biggest legends in the industry to replace Kevin Nash, who was suspended by WWE after being involved in a domestic violence incident with his son. Ric Flair will join Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan and Scott Hall on the episode. The legendary performers will be asked to promote the Royal Rumble.

Charlotte wins Rookie of the Year

About four decades ago, Ric Flair captured the rookie of the year award handed out by Pro Wrestling Illustrated. He went on to have a hall of fame career. His sons attempted to follow in the footsteps of their legendary father, but did not get nearly as far as they had hoped. However, it looks like his daughter might have the best shot at being a star. Charlotte has been named the rookie of the year by PWI magazine this year.
