Now that he is back on good terms with the company after the incident at Summerslam 2013 that cost Jim Ross his job, Ric Flair is being heavily rumored to join the stacked episode of Monday Night Raw on February 24, the same night that WWE Network launches. He will be needed to help promote WCW and NWA content on the network.
Apparently, Triple H has played a big part in helping out Ric Flair over the last year. He informed the former NWA champion that WWE would cut him off if he did not get things together.
While the backstage heat on Ric Flair has subsided tremendously, Ashley Flair remains in developmental and should be there for a little while longer, as WWE is now focused on elevating Paige and Emma to the main roster.
There are those that believe that WWE was quietly involved in setting up the appearance where Ric Flair gave a pep talk to the San Francisco 49ers before their playoffs game against the Green Bay Packers. San Francisco is hosting an upcoming Wrestlemania.
Ric Flair reportedly left an appearance early after getting into a dispute with the promoter. A fan apparently paid money to hang out with the former WWE champion for three hours but only got forty five minutes.
There are those that believe that Ashley Flair is not going to be promoted because of the poor standing Ric Flair is in with WWE right now.
