HBK replaces Hogan

As many of you already know, Miz was pegged as a replacement for Hulk Hogan on Tough Enough. Now, word has come out that Shawn Michaels has signed on to become the special guest general manager when WWE does a couple of live events in Australia next month. There were rumors that Ric Flair was in line for both gigs, but he could not come to an agreement with the front office.

Miz on Tough Enough

When Hulk Hogan was forced to vacate his position as a judge on Tough Enough, fans excitedly speculated on which legend was going to be replacing him. Ric Flair and Bret Hart were the two names that were mentioned the most. However, WWE opted to go in a different direction by simply using Miz in the role. He is a great talker, so he should be able to handle the job just fine.

While many are under the assumption that Ric Flair is guaranteed of the job, sources have now revealed that Bret Hart is actually going to be meeting with Vince McMahon this week to discuss the possibility of the former world heavyweight champion coming back to WWE as a replacement judge on Tough Enough. A deal could be announced very soon.

Since Hulk Hogan was forced out of the company, WWE needed someone to replace him. They're turning to the other legend backstage. Ric Flair has been pegged as the top candidate for the role. He will likely take over as a judge on Tough Enough this week. Flair is also most likely to replace Hogan when the company tours Australia in a couple of weeks.

Rumors are floating around right now that there is a major difference of opinions backstage on how Seth Rollins should be booked as a heel champion. Triple H wants to keep going the old school route by having Rollins be a cowardly champion, much like how Ric Flair used to be. Vince McMahon, however, wants Rollins to be booked as a stronger champion with more credibility with the fans.

Nature Boy Buddy Landel

Earlier this year, the often forgotten Buddy Landel because the topic of interest in professional wrestling again because of his untimely death. Some members of the internet wrestling community questioned his nickname when they learned about it. Landel was actually bestowed the honor of being called the "Nature Boy" from none other than Ric Flair and Buddy Rogers, two legendary performers who also used the moniker.

One of the longstanding misconception by the internet wrestling community is that Vince Russo was the man that killed WCW. During a recent interview, Ric Flair defended him a bit by stating that the company was already heading south by the time Russo took over as the lead writer. Flair also noted that there were many other reasons why the company died.

When he initially signed on to do a podcast interview show for CBS Radio, Ric Flair was under the assumption that he was going to have a variety of guests, as the former world heavyweight champion has relationships with several athletes and celebrities. Executives, however, have instructed the Nature Boy to only bring in wrestling related guests.
