While doing a podcast interview, Jay Lethal revealed that plans were changed when he was working a feud against Ric Flair in TNA. Initially, the creative department had the Nature Boy winning the match. However, Flair didn't feel that was the right thing to do, so he can convinced the front office to let him put over Lethal. Management finally caved in and allowed the new finish to take place. Lethal defeated Flair with the Figure Four Leg Lock.

While doing an interview with the Miami Herald, Ric Flair talked a little bit about the Whooooo! Nation podcast interview show that he hosts weekly. He stated that the industry can be rather lucrative for the performers if done right. Flair, however, noted that his handicap in the game is that he cannot criticize WWE as much as he wants to because both he and Charlotte are under contract to the company.

He has been out of action since May because of a leg injury he suffered while doing stunts on a dirt bike. Hardy is taking a great risk here because doctors have already informed him that he needs another surgery to repair the damage.

A longstanding rumor was confirmed by Ric Flair during his latest podcast interview show. He reiterated that he refused to drop the WCW World Heavyweight Championship to Lex Luger, who had chased Flair and the belt for a very long time. The reason why the Nature Boy refused to do that was because he had promised the title to Sting. This caused a major conflict with promoter Jim Herd and caused Flair to leave for WWE.

The reason for that was because they felt that the NWA was pitting them against one another. Luger and Sting were around the same age, and they were both gunning for the top spot in the promotion. They eventually bonded over bodybuilding.

The statement holds some merit as others have said similar things about those two guys.
