When he initially signed on to do a podcast interview show for CBS Radio, Ric Flair was under the assumption that he was going to have a variety of guests, as the former world heavyweight champion has relationships with several athletes and celebrities. Executives, however, have instructed the Nature Boy to only bring in wrestling related guests.

Kurt Angle to WCW

One of the more interesting revelations that was made during the podcast interview that Kurt Angle did with Ric Flair was the fact the latter was the one that convinced the former to avoid signing a contract with WCW. Flair had several issues with the front office, so he advised Angle to sign with WWE instead. He even stated that he handed him the phone number to Vince McMahon, so that he can initiate the negotiations personally.

We are getting closer and closer to seeing the podcast interview show debut for Ric Flair. There are even talks that he could do his first interview within the next seven days. Since he wants to start things off with a big bang, Flair went out and got himself a very good person to chat with. Kurt Angle is rumored to be his first guest. A conversation between two of the greatest performers ever would definitely be worth checking out.

Another legend has decided to get into the podcast interview game. Ric Flair will soon make his debut as the host of his own show. Since he is long considered as one of the best of all time, his discussions should be interesting enough to draw in the audience. Flair is on good terms with WWE, so he more than likely will be able to convince management to let him interview the current roster. The title of show will be Woo Nation.

When it comes to podcast shows, wrestling fans have been living in nirvana thanks to Jim Ross, Vince Russo, Steve Austin and Chris Jericho joining the industry. Well, the game just got a bit more interesting. Reports have surfaced that Ric Flair has just signed an agreement with CBS Sports to host his own weekly show. The Nature Boy will be interviewing various professional wrestlers, celebrities and musicians on his show.
