During the latest episode of his podcast show, Ric Flair revealed that Charlotte used to call him all the time and complained about not being called up to the main roster by WWE. Being a caring father, he offered to use his backstage stroke to ask management when that would happen. Since she did not want nepotism to play a factor in her success, she declined the offer from Flair.

A lot of wrestling fans are under the assumption that Ric Flair helped to train Charlotte to become a professional wrestler. Apparently, that is not the case. When your father is one of the greatest performers that the industry has ever seen, those are rather large shoes to fill. Flair understands that, so he doesn't give her a lot of advice because he does not want to interfere with what the WWE trainers are teaching his daughter.

About four decades ago, Ric Flair captured the rookie of the year award handed out by Pro Wrestling Illustrated. He went on to have a hall of fame career. His sons attempted to follow in the footsteps of their legendary father, but did not get nearly as far as they had hoped. However, it looks like his daughter might have the best shot at being a star. Charlotte has been named the rookie of the year by PWI magazine this year.

Earlier this month, Tessa Blanchard received a tryout with WWE. While nothing official has been stated yet, the belief is that the company will end up signing her to a developmental contract and training her for NXT. Her name value really means a lot, and she could end up working a program with Charlotte. As many of you already know, their legendary fathers, Ric Flair and Tully Blanchard, were a part of the Four Horsemen stable together.
