Shawn Michaels

Charlotte honored too soon

While many felt that it was a really nice gesture by Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels to give a matching Rolex watch to Charlotte, there are some that feel that it was much too soon to be doing that. Winning the Divas Championship is viewed as an accomplish, but her career in WWE still has a long way to go. It might have been better to wait until she was towards the tail end of her career. Charlotte still has yet to work a match at Wrestlemania.

Tatsumi Fujinami

Flair inducting Fujinami

One of the lesser discussed induction into the WWE Hall of Fame at Wrestlemania is Tatsumi Fujinami. A part of that is because his brief stint in WCW took place well before a lot of the current fans were born. The legend from Japan definitely deserves the honor, and his induction should be an entertaining one since Ric Flair will be involved. The two of them had an entertaining feud over the heavyweight championship at one point in time.

Tatsumi Fujinami induction

Apparently, WWE is really serious about wanting a legend from Japan to be included in their hall of fame class this year. Initially reports all had Genichiro Tenryu being the chosen one, but there are now signs pointing to Tatsumi Fujinami being honored during Wrestlemania weekend instead. For those of you that were not born yet, Fujinami worked a very memorable program with Ric Flair for the WCW world championship in the early 1990s.
