While doing a podcast interview with Ric Flair, Sting revealed that he used to have backstage heat with Lex Luger when the two of them first met. The reason for that was because they felt that the NWA was pitting them against one another. Luger and Sting were around the same age, and they were both gunning for the top spot in the promotion. They eventually bonded over bodybuilding.

That turned out to be on purpose because the family asked their friends to keep things out of the public. He stated that the arrogant personality that Luger portrayed on camera was pretty close to what he was really like in real life. Bischoff hated working with him. He also resented Luger because of what happened with Miss Elizabeth, whom his wife was very close to.

During his latest podcast interview, Ric Flair shared a backstage story about a big fight that he had with Randy Savage when the two of them were in WCW. Triple H had just received a contract offer from WWE because he did not want to sign for $250,000 with World Championship Wrestling. Savage wanted to squash HHH in a 30 second match. Flair said that he refused to let that happen because he did not feel that it was right.

No word yet on what his involvement will entail, but he could be doing an angle with Charlotte. There is also speculation that he could be working an angle with Sting, since the two of them have quite the history together.

Being a caring father, he offered to use his backstage stroke to ask management when that would happen. Since she did not want nepotism to play a factor in her success, she declined the offer from Flair.

He will likely take over as a judge on Tough Enough this week. Flair is also most likely to replace Hogan when the company tours Australia in a couple of weeks.

Rumors are floating around right now that there is a major difference of opinions backstage on how Seth Rollins should be booked as a heel champion. Triple H wants to keep going the old school route by having Rollins be a cowardly champion, much like how Ric Flair used to be. Vince McMahon, however, wants Rollins to be booked as a stronger champion with more credibility with the fans.
