The sky appears to be falling for AAA, a once proud organization. Reports have surfaced that Rey Mysterio is done with the promotion because they haven't been able to pay him on time. There is also said to be a complete lack of organization in the front office. The only way that the former world heavyweight champion would do business with Asistencia Asesoria Administracion is if they were to pay him up front and in full.

While he is no longer wrestling for TNA, Kurt Angle is not done in the ring. The former world heavyweight champion has signed on to wrestle Rey Mysterio at a show in Phoenix, Arizona on March 20. Interestingly enough, former WWE stars Ken Shamrock and Dan Severn are booked to do an MMA fight that night as well. In addition to those two genres, there will also be a boxing match featuring Roy Jones Jr fighting a fan.

In a move that has been expected but still surprising, Daniel Bryan has announced that he is going to retire from professional wrestling. The former world heavyweight champion attempted to gain his release from WWE so that he can go wrestle on the independent wrestling circuit. However, Vince McMahon refused to let him out of his contract, which is similar to the situation that Rey Mysterio was stuck in not too long ago.

Well, that has now been confirmed, as the former world heavyweight champion made an appearance at the television taping on Saturday. Mysterio was one of the mystery contestants in a battle royal to determine a new heavyweight champion.

He captured the title in a triple threat match in Ontario that also featured former WWE star Justin Gabriel. This means that Mysterio will be heading back to Canada more frequently this year.
