DDP and Bully Ray hiding

In order to keep their Royal Rumble returns as a surprise to the audience, WWE went to great lengths to keep Diamond Dallas Page and Bully Ray hidden at the arena. The two of them were kept in a special tour bus that was parked inside the stadium. DDP revealed in a promotional interview with the Miami Herald that the two of them were stuck in there for approximately seven hours. He even compared the situation to being stuck in jail.

Since he remains on good terms with the company and makes frequent returns and appearances, rumors about Rob Van Dam being a mystery entrant during the Royal Rumble continue to persists. He touched on the topic during an interview with Booker T. RVD stated that he is going to be riding his bike in California on Sunday night. The former world heavyweight champion also noted that fans are not going to believe him anyways.

WWE wants to give the Royal Rumble a kick start, so management has decided to do something very special on the final episode of Monday Night Raw before the big pay per view. The special will be called Raw reunion, which will feature the on screen returns of real life best friends Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Shawn Michaels. The trio will also be joined by Hulk Hogan, another performer that was in the nWo. The stable could be the theme for the evening.

Those that love the glorified violence that professional wrestling can bring to the table, are in for a bit of disappointment when Impact Wrestling returns to the air next month. Reports have surfaced that Dixie Carter has ordered for a ban on blood in TNA. The belief is that this move was strongly influenced by Destination America, as the network wants them to have a friendlier environment, so that the executives can pitch them to more advertisers.
