Motor City Machine Guns vs Shark Boy & Curry Man
Very entertaining match. Since these guys aren't involved in a match at Sacrifice, perhaps management can find a spot for them there.
The overall rating of this match went down a bit because it wasn't allowed to end properly thanks to Scott Steiner's interference.

Attack on Angle
Scott Steiner, Petey Williams, and Rhaka Khan interrupt the first match so they can cut a promo about the main event. We did get to see a nice Canadian Destroyer on Shark Boy.
Kurt Angle comes out, and he takes a beating from Petey Williams and Scott Steiner. Samoa Joe makes the save. |

Knockout Conference
Interview starts out with Velvet Sky and Angelina Love showing edited photos of various TNA Knockouts without hair. WWE fans would have enjoyed this segment because it's similiar to the humor that WWE uses.
ODB and Gail Kim come out to confront the Beautiful People.
ODB absolutely kills it in this segment. She's easily one of the most entertaining female performers in the entire business. She refers to Angelina Love's enhanced breasts as "fun bags". ODB also has the quote of the night by saying, "Since you hookers don't have customers tonight..." |

Styles' Partner
With Tomko being suspended, AJ Styles needed to find a brand new tag team partner for the Deuces Wild tournament. TNA sets up a couple of segments where he goes up to various wrestlers asking for help.
The best segment, though, was when AJ Styles went into Booker T's locker room.
The two set up one of the most hilarious backstage segments ever. Booker T pretended not to know who AJ Styles was. AJ Styles displayed subtle comedic genius when he did his little pose to show Booker T who he was.
Another thing that makes this segment great is that it plays into Booker T's slow heel turn. He keeps the same anger that he had from the previous week. |

Deuces Wild Tournament Match
LAX vs Eric Young & Kaz
Very good tag team match. It was actually great when Kaz was in there working against LAX. The guy is underrated in the ring.
LAX gets the win after Homicide picks up the pin over Eric Young. Apparently, Eric Young is in a unique situation where he jobs as himself but gets victories as Super Eric.
After the match, LAX calls Hector Guerrero to the ring. They pay homage to the Guerrero family (including a heartwarming speech by Homicide where he states that they all wanted to be like Eddie Guerrero). Afterwards, Hector Guerrero agrees to manage the duo at the Sacrifice pay per view.

Gail Kim & ODB vs Angelina Love & Velvet Sky
Good match. It's nice how TNA gave these women time to perform. Running powerslam from ODB ends the match.
Roxxi Laveaux comes out afterwards and attacks Angelina Love. She nails her awesome finishing move.

Super Eric & AJ Styles vs The Rock and Rave Infection
I personally can't stand the Super Eric character. I'm also not a big fan of the Rock and Rave Infection either. So, basically, this match wasn't something I was looking forward to.
To be honest, though, the match had some very entertaining spots. Plus, the audience was enjoying the match.

Cheerleader Melissa vs Daisy Haze
Pretty good match between these two independent wrestling veterans. The match would have been a bit better had TNA done more to introduce them so that the audience would have been involved.

Steiner Mathematics
This was arguably one of the best promos that Scott Steiner has ever cut in his life. Rather than being an angry muscular guy, he actually displays some humor here.
First, he does some ridiculously complex math that makes absolutely no sense. It didn't make sense, but it was hilarious.
Then, Scott Steiner asks the gorgeous backstage interviewer (Lauren Brooke) if she would rather be with him or Samoa Joe. She replies that Samoa Joe is a nice guy. Scott Steiner mumbles, "Oh, you're one of those women that like romance, huh?"
Absolutely hilarious.
Of course, it doesn't end there. Petey Williams gets in a great line at the end that plays off one of Scott Steiner's catchphrases. |

Samoa Joe & Kurt Angle vs Petey Williams & Scott Steiner
Pretty decent match that was given time. However, TNA might have been better off doing a straight up match with Petey Williams facing either Kurt Angle or Samoa Joe. The wrestling in a singles match would have been much more entertaining.
After the match, Kurt Angle sneak attacks Samoa Joe. Scott Steiner takes out Kurt Angle. He then grabs the TNA World Heavyweight Championship belt and poses with it.

Very good show. There wasn't a single bad match on the entire thing. The segments were just flat out entertaining.
The ratings for this show would have definitely been a 9 or a 10 had TNA been able to pull off one great match on the show. |
