MVP's Lounge
MVP conducted his interview segment. Even though he was cutting a heel promo, it was obvious that WWE is teasing a babyface turn. With Vickie Guerrero having so much heel heat right now, WWE can basically turn just about anyone into a babyface by putting them into a conflict with the general manager. |

Matt Hardy vs Bam Neely
This is the beauty of having stables. It makes it easier to get the lower level guys over. Plus, it gives the writers plenty of tools to work with. To promote their upcoming pay per view match, Chavo Guerrero sends his bodyguard, Bam Neely, out to face Matt Hardy. Match was solid, but the added storyline made it much better.

Michelle McCool vs Layla El
WWE is really trying too hard to make it seem like Michelle McCool is a submission specialist. You'd have to be a sheep to buy it. After the match, Natalya Neidhart makes her appearance afterwards to make sure that everyone knows that there is an upcoming program between the two.
Winner: Michelle McCool |

Vladimir Kozlov vs Jamie Noble
With Vladimir Kozlov rumored to have been heading into a program with the suspended Jimmy Wang Yang, he's now left without anything to do. So, WWE resorted to having him work a program with Jamie Noble, who has absolutely no momentum whatsoever since his program with Michelle McCool and Chuck Palumbo ended.
Winner: Vladimir Kozlov |

Kane vs MVP
This match was MVP's punishment from Vickie Guerrero. Personally, I hate the booking. There's no reason to have MVP walking away from this match. It works fine when he was a heel champion, but right now, he's just a heel. Things like this really hurts his momentum.
Mark Henry shows up afterwards. He proceeds to destroy Kane. They might as well just throw him into the title match at Night of Champions.
Winner: Kane |

Charles Robinson vs Great Khali
It wasn't a great match, by any means. However, it does accomplish its task of showing how evil and powerful Vickie Guerrero is. This was punishment for Charles Robinson for kicking Chavo Guerrero out of a match earlier in the night.
Winner: Great Khali |

Deuce & Domino vs Jesse & Festus
WWE wanted to send the message again that the tag team division is dead. Deuce & Domino were not a great tag team, but they were a legitimate tag team. WWE splitting them up (with neither guy really having enough momentum to be a singles star) further dilutes the division.
Winner: Jesse & Festus |

Finlay vs Miz
This is a preview of the WWE Tag Team Championship match that will happen at Night of Champions. Decent match. Nothing really special about it. Wonder if WWE would do a match between Hornswoggle and John Morrison next week.
Winner: Finlay |

Chavo Guerrero vs Batista
Once again, this is the benefit of having a stable storyline. Without the alliance, this match wouldn't generate much interest. Since there's a connection, then this match promotes the main event at Night of Champions.
Winner: Chavo Guerrero |

Anything involving La Familia (including MVP's segment) was good. Everything else needed a lot of work. |
