Batista vs Deuce & Domino

We understand that WWE wants to make Batista and Umaga look as strong as possible for their match at Wrestlemania 24, but do they have to do it at the expense of a legitimate tag team?

Winner: Batista

Big Show vs Chase Stevens & Andy Douglas & Luke Hawx

This handicap match makes a lot more sense than the Batista match.

Chase Stevens and Andy Douglas were the Naturals in TNA. Luke Hawx did some work for WSX. Losing doesn't hurt them nearly as much since they need the exposure.

Winner: Big Show

Edge vs Funaki

Rare Funaki sighting.

Edge basically uses this match to mock the Undertaker. The idea for the match was pretty clever since it totally plays into the fact that Vickie Guerrero is showing favoritism towards her man.

Winner: Edge

Kane vs Chuck Palumbo

The match doesn't even really begin as the Great Khali makes his way down the ring to interfere. Just a half hearted attempt to promote the battle royale at Wrestlemania 24.

Winner: None

WWE Tag Team Championship
The Miz & John Morrison vs Jesse & Festus

The feud between these two teams has been pretty weak. In fact, most fans weren't even aware that they were feuding.

Jesse & Festus had been booked pretty strong lately, so that obviously meant that they were going to lose to the tag champs, which they did.

Winner: The Miz & John Morrison

Undertaker vs Chavo Guerrero

Good to see a fresh matchup on Smackdown. The match was solid, with the Undertaker using his MMA style submission move to get the win.

After the match, Edge, Curt Hawkins, and Zack Ryder attack the Undertaker. The World Heavyweight Champion puts down his challenger with a Con-Chair-To.

Winner: Undertaker

Final Analysis

The main event was good, but everything else was average or below average.
