Edge and his crew reign supreme again, while the Undertaker shows off his massive strength against a massive opponent.

Foreshadowing Undertaker basically dominated Big Daddy V in their match (including fake blood capsules exploding in the big man's mouth). That leaves us thinking that he's going to be winning the Royal Rumble for the 2nd straight year. Out of all the guys participating in the match, the Undertaker has been booked the strongest in the week leading up to the show. We also expect the writers to give Big Daddy V a nice run in the Royal Rumble to make up for the beating he took on Smackdown. Gaining An Edge Edge finished off Smackdown celebrating his victory over CM Punk with Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. Something about that scene makes us believe that he'll have an edge over Rey Mysterio at the Royal Rumble. That World Heavyweight Championship isn't changing hands just yet. Chuck Palumbo Turns Chuck Palumbo's heel turn is now in full effect. Fans were started to turn against him in recent weeks, but now, it'll be a complete turn because he injured Michelle McCool. It also sounds like Jamie Noble is going to be turning face, which doesn't excite us since he does such a good (and underrated job) as a heel.

Closing Thoughts

Not too bad. WWE wanted to promote the upcoming Royal Rumble pay per view, and this show pulled that off.

Batista

Batista basically gave a generic speech where he tells people that he's going to win the Royal Rumble again. Nothing out of the ordinary here. Very typical stuff.

Great Khali vs Finlay

This was basically a No DQ match that ended without a winner because things got out of hand. Solid booking going into the Royal Rumble.

MVP does another superb job on the microphone in selling his rivalry with Ric Flair. He showcases some hilarious pictures mocking the Nature Boy.

Nice way to promote the world title match at the Royal Rumble. Edge's crew loses the match but does give Rey Mysterio a bit of a beating.

Miz, John Morrison & Layla Win

This was basically a set up for Jamie Noble and Palumbo to get into a fight as tag team partners. Palumbo also throws down Michelle McCool after the match.

Very good match between the two. This is a preview of a potential classic feud between CM Punk and Edge a few months down the line.

Undertaker beat Big Daddy V

Decent match with a very creative finish. Since they made Undertaker look so strong here, there's a good chance he'll end up winning the Royal Rumble again.

Pretty meaningless tag team match. We've seen this matchup pretty often lately. Should have added Jesse & Festus to the match to change things up.
