WWE United States Heavyweight Championship
Matt Hardy vs MVP

It wasn't a great match, but it was a good match. Seeing Matt Hardy finally being rewarded helped to increase the overall rating for this match.

Had this match been done during the peak of their rivalry, the ratings would have been much higher thanks to the buildup. It could have been a classic if the match was a ladder match.

Winner: Matt Hardy

ECW Heavyweight Championship
Kane vs Chavo Guerrero

Chavo Guerrero did a tremendous job in this match. He did a lot of the selling to make Kane look legitimately dominating. Not too many people give Chavo Guerrero credit for understanding ring psychology.

Bam Neely's interference was a nice touch in that it made it seem like a title change was going to take place.

Winner: Kane

wwe big show

Big Show vs Great Khali

A lot of people were predicting that this match was going to be short and ugly, but it wasn't.

Great work by the Big Show in carrying this match. He actually did quite a bit of work to make the Great Khali look like a competent wrestler. Plus, it's nice to see the big guy not totally demolishing the Great Khali and ruining his momentum.

Big Show gets the win with a nice choke slam to the Great Khali, who actually jumped a bit to sell the move.

The audience absolutely hated this match. They kept chanting various negative things throughout the entire segment.

Winner: Big Show

7/10

Shawn Michaels vs Batista

As expected, this was a pretty good match. The addition of Chris Jericho as a special guest referee ended up being a nice touch. He didn't really affect the match too much. He was basically a decoy to make the match a bit more unpredictable.

Pretty surprised that Shawn Michaels picked up the clean win here. Didn't think they were going to do that to Batista.

Winner: Shawn Michaels

8/10

beth phoenix

Beth, Layla, Melina, Jillian, Natalya, Victoria vs Maria, Ashley, Mickie, Cherry, Kelly, Michelle

Nothing special about this match. WWE basically wanted to include every single diva on the roster.

Beth Phoenix picks up the pin over Ashley Massaro. I'm guessing that was done to give her back some momentum.

Winnners: Beth, Layla, Melina, Jillian, Natayla, Victoria

wwe undertaker

World Heavyweight Championship
Undertaker vs Edge

Very good match that was slightly a notch under their Wrestlemania 24 match. Of course, that one had more hype since it wasn't a rematch.

Nice touch having some minor outside interference to get the audience to believe that the Undertaker was going to lose the World Heavyweight Championship back to Edge.

The finish saw a nice series of counter that led to the Undertaker trapping Edge into his submission move. Edge taps out, but the Undertaker keeps the hold on for a moment longer.

Winner: Undertaker

8/10

WWE Heavyweight Championship
JBL vs Randy Orton vs Triple H vs John Cena

Pretty good match. Not so sure if it was as good as the triple threat match at Wrestlemania 24, though.

Very entertaining segment towards the beginning. John Cena had Randy Orton in the STFU, so JBL goes over to mock the champion. He gets hit from behind, and Triple H locks him into the Crippler Crossface.

JBL gets eliminated first as he taps out to the STFU. John Cena is immediately eliminated by Randy Orton's kick to the head.

Afterwards, Randy Orton and Triple H were given plenty of time to work. Not the smartest thing to do with Randy Orton since he lacks creativity in the ring.

Nice series of reversals involving both guys' finishing maneuver. Triple H gets the final reversal for the win.

Winner: Triple H

8/10
  Final Analysis Ratings
The hype for the show helped out tremendously as the matches weren't exactly spectacular. Overall, it was a very entertaining pay per view. 8/10
