ECW on Sci Fi Results - May 13, 2008

Miz vs CM Punk

Pretty solid match between these two guys. Management really should have had them feuding over the ECW title a few months ago. The ratings for this match were elevated a bit because the ending made a lot of people say, "Oh, wow. I can't believe he won."

Winner: Miz

Natalya, Victoria, Layla vs Michelle, Kelly, Cherry

Kind of knew this matchup was going to be happening. Just didn't figure that it was going to be happening on ECW. Also didn't see Cherry picking up the win since Natalya Neidhart has been receiving a push as of late.

Natalya Neidhart has really been doing a good job in the ring as of late. She was pretty impressive in this match.

Winners: Michelle McCool, Kelly Kelly, Cherry

Mike Knox vs Colin Delaney

Now that Colin Delaney has his coveted contract, it was a bit obvious that he was going to get squashed immediately. Mike Knox was actually a great choice as the opponent.

On a side note, I'm actually quite surprised that Mike Knox is starting to actually improve and get over with the audience (not a lot, but better than the silence that he used to get).

Winner: Mike Knox

Armando Estrada vs Colin Delaney

Immediately after Colin Delaney gets destroyed by Mike Knox, Armando Estrada makes his way to the ring. He declares that he's now an active wrestler and his first opponent will be the fallen Colin Delaney.

Obviously, Armando Estrada picks up the win. His finishing move is a reverse suplex, which was what Goldust used to do.

Winner: Armando Estrada

John Morrison vs Kane

Surprisingly good match between these two guys here. Perhaps management should seriously consider having someone other than Chavo Guerrero feuding with Kane over the ECW title.

When you allow John Morrison to look strong against a veteran like Kane, it's better for the company in the long run.
