When CJ Parker announced his retirement earlier in the year, the belief was that he was done with professional wrestling after being given his release by WWE. However, that does not appear to be the case. Apparently, he is only retiring his persona. The former NXT star is heading to New Japan to wrestle there, despite not having established himself in the United States yet. He will be going by the name of Juice Robinson.

Since a new member of the Wyatt Family made his debut on Monday Night Raw, the internet wrestling community has been speculating about the status of Erick Rowan. Some are under the impression that he is going to be released by WWE. That is not the case. He is currently on the shelf because of a serious injury. When he heals up, there is a good chance that management has him rejoining the stable as the fourth member.

In a sign that he is still relevant to the mainstream audience, Jake Roberts has revealed that his documentary will be released in theaters. It will not be a nationwide release, however. Only certain markets will be showing the film. That is still considered a huge victory, as independent films have a hard time getting aired in theaters that normally prefer movies from the big studios.

A very interesting list was released by WWE this week. It ranked the performers with the most victories on pay per view events. Undertaker was the top guy with 91 victories. John Cena was right behind him at 85, which should provide even further fuel for his critics. Triple H, Kane and Edge rounded out the top five with 80, 63 and 59 victories respectively.

A new list has been released, and it shows which athlete has done the most for charity. To no one's surprise, John Cena was ranked #2, which is only a spot away from top ranked Cristiano Ronaldo, a famous soccer player. What does come as a surprise is that Roman Reigns made the list at #13. He does more charity work than people know about. Potential WWE star Ronda Rousey made the list as well.

In a press release, Jeff Jarrett revealed that GFW will be helping to promote the final movie that Roddy Piper ever starred in. The film is called The Masked Saint, and it will be released in theaters next January. Prior to his death from a heart attack, Piper had agreed to work for Global Force Wrestling as an ambassador. That would have helped draw in fans to the promotion.

Prior to his death, Roddy Piper had apparently reached a deal with GFW to start working for the promotion. The plan was for him to do a Piper's Pit segment at one of the television taping to help the company pitch to the various television networks. Unfortunately, though, the agreement could not come to fruition. Piper had been released from his contract with WWE not too long ago.

In what should be a mutually beneficial deal for both sides, WWE has purchased the rights to a movie called the Resurrection of Gavin Stone, which recently wrapped up production and should be ready for a release soon. The film stars Brett Dalton from Marvel's Agent of Shield television show. Another familiar face in the movie is none other than the legendary Shawn Michaels.

To further enhance their business relationship with Arnold Schwarzenegger, two playable Terminator characters will be available in the upcoming WWE 2K16 for those that order the game before it is officially released. The characters are going to be based off of the cyborgs from the first two movies in the series.

The Hulk Hogan controversy just got a bit more interesting. Jamie Foxx has been thrown into the mix now. The actor's name was thrown out by Hogan in the newly released audio. Apparently, some highly successful but not yet named music producer wanted Foxx to be on a track in an album that Brooke Hogan was working on.
