Taz leaving TNA

To clear the air, Taz revealed some details about his departure from TNA. He stated that his contract was up later on this summer, and he already had plans of moving on to do something else. The former world heavyweight champion stated that his decision to ask for a release was purely related to business. It was not personal, and he refuses to bash the company. The New York native also mentioned that he has no issues with Josh Mathews, whom he praises.

Shawn Michaels to WCW

During a podcast interview with Jim Ross, Shawn Michaels confirmed something that fans have been speculating for years. He revealed that he was so miserable working in WWE that he asked Vince McMahon to release him from his contract so that he could head down to WCW. Michaels really wanted to be with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall at the time. McMahon, however, refused to let him go because he could not afford to lose another big star.

Radicals to WWE

Vickie Guerrero did a podcast interview with Chris Jericho this week, and she revealed something rather interesting about the Radicalz making the jump to WWE. She revealed that even before Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn and Eddie Guerrero were released by WCW, there were discussions being had with Vince McMahon, which is essentially contract tampering. No lawsuit is likely to take place since the company no longer exists.

For years, Zack Ryder was safe from those rumors because management did not want to risk losing him to another promotion. This year, however, does not seem to be the case, as the front office has zapped him of a good amount of momentum and popularity. Ryder could become a casualty of the yearly roster purge.

Generally, the company tries to avoid publicizing such things because they do not want negative media attention.

Apparently, WWE has read what Justin Roberts said about the company in a blog entry. They felt compelled to release an official statement in regards to the matter. Management wrote that they were definitely genuine about their desire to help sick children. They denied the allegations that they were simply doing so for public relations reasons. The front office also made sure to reveal just how much Stephanie McMahon and Triple H do for the cause.

CJ Parker to New Japan

After four years of being a developmental wrestler, CJ Parker was finally convinced that WWE was never going to call him up to the main roster. He felt like he was forever stuck in NXT. Parker asked for his release, and management granted it to him. They even told him that the door will remain open if he wants to return some day. The 25 year old is said to be wanting a job with New Japan because he feels that they can increase his name value.

Another person that was omitted by the official press release for Total Divas is Rosa Mendes. That has led to speculations that E! and WWE have decided to drop her from the reality television show. A possible reason as to why she is being removed is because the front office has long been concerned about her antics outside of the ring. Some say that she loves to party a bit too much. That has gotten her in trouble with the company before.

E! released an official statement about the fourth season of Total Divas, and they listed the names of the cast members. A glaring omission is Cameron, which has led to speculations that she is being dropped from the reality television show. She hasn't really been featured much in WWE, and there are rumors floating around that management is not pleased with her focusing so much of her time and energy on outside business ventures.

Naomi on Total Divas

It looks like WWE and E! have had a change of heart when it comes to the cast of Total Divas. Initially, Naomi was removed from the reality television show because producers felt that her relationship with Jimmy Uso was no longer a draw. In a press release by the network today, it has been revealed that she is now back on the show. No word yet on why the change was made, but it would explain the current push she is receiving.
