He went on social media on Friday morning and revealed to fans that his contract had been terminated. The former amateur wrestler stated that he had a lot of fun in NXT, but it is now time for him to move on, which sounds like he might be completely done with the industry.

There are rumors floating around that the partnership between TNA and Wrestle 1 has come to an end. Much of the speculation stems from the fact that Seiya Sanada was released from his contract before it was set to expire in July. Interesting enough, Sanada has opted to remain in the United States instead of going back to work in Japan. His salary for the year was $75,000, which should come as a shock to fans who assume that wrestlers are paid a whole lot more than that. He was also given a percentage of merchandise sold, which really amounted to very little.

No lawsuit is likely to take place since the company no longer exists.
