Earlier in the week, rumors surfaced about a potential main event match between Brock Lesnar and The Rock at Wrestlemania next year in Dallas. The latter was recently asked about that possibility during an interview, and he actually addressed the topic. He stated that it was indeed a possibility. He stated that there would be some interest because WWE would have a chance to break attendance records with a match like that.

An interesting idea is being tossed around right now, and if implemented, it could shatter pay per view records for UFC. CM Punk is already in the promotion and training for his first fight. Brock Lesnar is finishing off his contract with WWE in a couple of weeks and has eyes on a return to mixed martial arts. If the promotion were to put the debut fight for Punk and the return fight for Lesnar on the same card, that would draw tremendous interest.

He stated that the potential is definitely there.

If you look at the record books, you will notice that Xavier Woods has yet to work a pay per view for WWE this year. That streak will more than likely be ending at Wrestlemania, as he is rumored to be a possible participant in two different matches. Woods might team up with Kofi Kingston or Big E Langston to face several tag teams for the title. If management does not go that route, then Woods will be a participant in the battle royal.

Ronda Rousey headlined a UFC card in Las Vegas last night. She created quite a buzz by beating her opponent in a record 14 seconds. That generated quite a bit of attention for her on social media. Some of that attention, however, was stolen by Brock Lesnar, who made a surprising appearance in the audience. Dressed in a nice suit, the WWE Heavyweight Champion sat right behind Dana White, which of course led to speculations.

Next week, Vince Russo is heading to Los Angeles and visiting Lucha Underground. That much we know. However, what we don't know is whether or not the two sides are meeting to discuss a potential partnership. Rumors are floating around that the promotion is seriously considering the idea of having Russo be their lead writer. While a lot of fans have negative viewers on the guy, he does have quite the track record of success in the industry.

Since she is now being featured on Total Divas, WWE has instructed the creative department to focus a bit more on the win loss record of Alicia Fox. While there are no plans on giving her a huge push at the moment, the goal is to ensure that she is not losing a ton of matches like she used to. Alicia needs to be kept a relevant and competitive performer in order to ensure that her popularity does not take a hit on the reality television show.

During the Royal Rumble last night, WWE showed a bit of gratitude and loyalty to Kane. Management allowed him to beat the all time elimination record that was previously held by Shawn Michaels, who has eliminated performers 39 times in his career. The Big Red Machine now holds that record with his 40 eliminations. His professionalism and leadership have long been traits that were very much appreciated and respected by officials.
