When the announcement was made that Ring of Honor was going to be broadcast on Destination America, a lot of the internet wrestling community assumed that there was going to be an immediate ratings war with TNA. Despite all the hype, ROH failed to even crack the top 100 cable television show for the evening. Joe Koff and company are already aware that they are running a replay, so most of their fans have already seen the episode.

After a year of high ratings in the country, TNA has been able to extend their contract with Nuvolari TV. That means that Impact Wrestling will continue to air in Italy, San Marino, Malta, Monaco and Switzerland. Since she is not involved with the creative department, Dixie Carter spends much of her time on global licensing deals such as this one. It enables the company to generate revenue, regardless of what happens in the United States.

Now that Impact Wrestling has made its debut on Destination America, all eyes are on the ratings to see how they would compare with the numbers that TNA was drawing on Spike TV. Total viewers drawn in for the episode were approximately 368,000, which is a lot less than on the previous network. However, those numbers were good enough to make professional the wrestling the most watched show on the network. That is a positive start for Dixie Carter.
