Monday Night Raw viewers

WWE discovered some disturbing news when they checked the ratings for Monday Night Raw this week. The show lost more than 1.5 million viewers in the span of seven days. The company has trouble keeping people interested after Wrestlemania. This does not sit well with Vince McMahon. A lot of wrestling fans opted to watch the season finale of Better Call Saul and the NCAA Championship game between Duke and Wisconsin.

WWE ratings drop

A good amount of concern has encompassed those backstage in WWE this week when the ratings came out. Vince McMahon was surprised to find out that approximately 600,000 viewers turned away from the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, despite there being hope that Sting would show up in person to respond to Triple H and his challenge. The show was up against the series premiere episodes of Better Call Saul, and that played a factor.

Lucha Underground ratings

While the promotion has started gaining a little bit of steam with the internet wrestling community, there is a good amount of disappointment from those involved with Lucha Underground in regards to their ratings. The numbers simply are not as high as management was expecting. The hope is that someone like Alberto Del Rio is going to be able to help move the needle a bit. The company definitely needs more recognizable names.

Impact Wrestling ratings

Now that Impact Wrestling has made its debut on Destination America, all eyes are on the ratings to see how they would compare with the numbers that TNA was drawing on Spike TV. Total viewers drawn in for the episode were approximately 368,000, which is a lot less than on the previous network. However, those numbers were good enough to make professional the wrestling the most watched show on the network. That is a positive start for Dixie Carter.
