During a podcast interview, Molly Holly discussed the hall of fame. She stated that WWE invited her to be in the crowd when Randy Savage was inducted because she was a member of his entourage in WCW. When asked about a possible induction for herself, she humbly stated that she probably does not belong in there. Molly feels that she was a glorified enhancement talent. She would accept an induction, however.

Hall retiring Savage

During a recent interview, Scott Hall revealed that there were once plans for his character to break the leg of Randy Savage and retire the legend from the ring. However, those plans were changed because the Ultimate Warrior walked away from a scheduled tag team match that was to feature Hall and Ric Flair going up against Warrior and Savage. Instead, Curt Hennig was given a spot in the match, and everything changed.

The man rumored to be the next ruler has been busy mending fences for WWE. Triple H has been widely credited with getting Randy Savage, Ultimate Warrior and Bruno Sammartino back into the good graces of the company. Doing that has helped raised morale backstage.

During his latest podcast interview, Ric Flair shared a backstage story about a big fight that he had with Randy Savage when the two of them were in WCW. Triple H had just received a contract offer from WWE because he did not want to sign for $250,000 with World Championship Wrestling. Savage wanted to squash HHH in a 30 second match. Flair said that he refused to let that happen because he did not feel that it was right.

The wrestling world mourns together today, as it is now the fourth anniversary of the day that Randy Savage passed away in an auto accident. His death not only rocked the wrestling world, but it also rocked the mainstream world, as many are aware of him even though they are not regular watchers of the industry. WWE finally honored the Macho Man this year with a hall of fame induction, something that should have happened years ago.

Mega Powers return

For years now, the creative department has had a reputation of wanting to amuse Vince McMahon with on screen stuff. Their latest efforts reportedly is the return of the Mega Powers. This time, though, it will not feature Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage. Rather, it will be Curtis Axel playing the role of Hogan, while Damien Sandow plays the role of Savage. Sandow recently debut his new Macho Mandow character at a live event.

Wanting to share his side of the story, Scott Steiner did a quick interview with TMZ. He stated that the reason why he approached the wife of Hulk Hogan at the airport was because he wanted to let her know that it was wrong for Hogan to induct Randy Savage. Steiner stated that Savage hated Hogan, and everyone in the industry was aware of that. Hogan has been telling everyone that the two of them made up, but his sincerity has been questioned.
