A lot of people are hoping that WWE doesn't rush the Roman Reigns push, and it looks like the company is taking the slow approach. Since Orton has been one of the top stars over the last decade, this should provide Reigns with a bit more credibility.

In order to explain why they never went back to the ring, WWE had Seth Rollins hurling into Triple H, Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose from the balcony in the stands.

John Cena
While the general consensus in professional wrestling is that the world heavyweight champion plays a bit part in the overall success of the company, a recent article from Forbes attempts to dispute that by looking at the financial ramifications during the title reigns of CM Punk, John Cena and Randy Orton. Since the numbers are all over the place, the author concluded that the heavyweight champion does not have much of an effect on the business end of WWE.
July 2, 2014
John Cena
On Monday Night Raw, WWE was quick to set up the main event for WWE Battleground 2014. Rollins will simply be utilized as a heel who is allied with the Authority.
June 12, 2014
Triple H
The story on Monday Night Raw this week was that Randy Orton was on vacation and not at the show. The reason for that is to generate more heel heat for him from WWE fans. His character gets a shot at the world title from Triple H without having to win a qualifying match like the other performers are doing. No word yet on whether or not Orton was actually given the night off, though.
June 10, 2014

Morale has taken a bit of a hit backstage in WWE now that management has instituted new fines for the performers. It is also being said that Vince McMahon and company are fining the performers even if they're just a minute late to the arena.
July 10, 2014
Sheamus
There could be one less championship in WWE after the next pay per view. Rumors are floating around heavily that Sheamus could be the one to win the battle royal to become the new Intercontinental Champion. He is already the reigning United States Heavyweight Champion. A title unification would enable WWE writers to have one less thing to worry about, especially since neither belt has been in the spotlight much lately.
July 9, 2014
Sheamus
Even though he is the current reigning United States Heavyweight Champion, Sheamus has not been given an actual feud to work with. While there are speculations going around that he is upset with WWE for not giving him an official program, those backstage are saying that he is fine with things for now. In fact, she has not even been invited for a tryout yet. While some are citing her lack of experience, which she is trying to fix by working with OVW, many are pointing out that WWE has had no qualms with signing female performers who have absolutely no experience in the wrestling industry before.

David Otunga
About a month ago, it was reported that David Otunga was on his way back to WWE. He revealed those plans to the media, but those plans have yet to surface. Some are speculating that he could be a mystery entrant into the upcoming Intercontinental Championship battle royal at WWE Battleground 2014.
July 8, 2014
Big E Langston
Last month, rumors were finally squashed about WWE bringing back the Nation of Domination stable with R Truth, Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston. Speculations have started back up again now that WWE has formed an on screen alliance between Kingston and Langston. Management reportedly canceled the plans previously because they did not want to make it seem like they were copying TNA, which recently launched a stable with MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley.
July 8, 2014
AJ Lee
While a lot of fans have high hopes of his return due to the fact that his wife recently made her comeback, there is close to no chance that CM Punk will be coming back to WWE. AJ Lee coming back doesn't have an effect on his decision to remain away from the company. Punk is supportive of AJ on her decision to continue her career in WWE, but he's going to stay away because he does not like the way the company treated him over the last year.
July 8, 2014
Damien Sandow
Rumors going around right now is that the impersonation gimmick that Damien Sandow has been doing is basically a way for the creative department to appease Vince McMahon, who has been known to find humor in stuff like this. To his credit, Sandow has embraced the role, in hopes that it will convince WWE to finally give him the push that he deserves.
July 7, 2014
Roman Reigns
By now, it's already clear to many that Triple H wants to put Roman Reigns over and make him a main event performer in WWE. However, that might not necessarily be happening overnight. The belief is that this feud will be stretched out and could possible involve a big gimmick match of some sort before the year ends.
July 7, 2014

While he walked away from WWE to focus on his business ventures, Tyler Reks is said to actually be open to the idea of making a return to professional wrestling. July 6, 2014
Dolph Ziggler
While a lot of fans are hoping to see WWE giving Dolph Ziggler a push again, the on screen relationship between he and Summer Rae is more about the diva than the former world heavyweight champion. Management needed someone to pair her up with, so that she can continue her feud against Fandango and Layla El. WWE still wants to give her a nice push heading into the next season of Total Divas.
July 6, 2014
Drew McIntyre
While a lot of fans were under the impression that he would be on the receiving end of a contract release along with Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre, Heath Slater has managed to survive and is still with WWE. Unfortunately, though, the company really does not have any plans for him at the moment. He's basically just a filler guy at live events, teaming up with various partners for the time being.
July 6, 2014
Sheamus
Earlier in the year, WWE had plans on doing a heel turn for Sheamus, in order to bring a little more life back into his stale character. The company even attempted the move on television, but it was botched and the majority of fans did not realize that it had taken place. Rumors going around now is that WWE has completely scrapped the idea. Sheamus will continue to work as a baby face US champion until they can decide on something for him to do.
July 6, 2014
Samoa Joe
Some rumors are floating around this weekend that WWE is trying to sign Samoa Joe. The source of the speculations is said to be due to the fact that Triple H briefly followed Joe on Twitter. Sources are saying that Joe followed HHH back on the social media site, which means that they had the option for two way communications for a period of time this weekend. WWE has long avoided the signing of Joe, so this would be quite an interesting move if true.
July 6, 2014
Bray Wyatt
If you're a big fan of Chris Jericho, then you probably should not blink. Rumors floating around is that he will be leaving WWE very soon. Some are even saying that he only came back to work with Bray Wyatt and help him get over some more before joining the main event scene. Speculations are that he will be gone before the year is over and that WWE paid him a hefty sum to come back.
July 6, 2014
Kofi Kingston
While he has already been officially added to the match at WWE Battleground 2014, very few people backstage in WWE expect Kofi Kingston to be given much consideration as the new Intercontinental Champion. The belief is that he is simply in the match to act as filler and to produce an entertaining spot, which he has routinely done well for the company.
July 5, 2014
Brock Lesnar
While most wrestling fans would love to see him working a match at Wrestlemania 31, Undertaker is actually said to be quite fine with retirement. He didn't make the decision to drop the winning streak to Brock Lesnar, but he reportedly does not mind ending his career on the losing end of a match. WWE wants him back, but the ball is entirely in the court of the Undertaker. For what it's worth, the legend is still staying in shape and working out.
July 5, 2014
David Otunga
Earlier in this week, Zack Ryder revealed to fans that WWE is no longer selling his merchandise. The belief is that it is a part of the company's plan to diminish his name value for when they decide to release him from his contract. Since the start of the year, Ryder has only been utilized eight times on television, all of which were losses. He hasn't had a victory on Monday Night Raw or Smackdown since December of 2012, when he pinned David Otunga on Raw.
