In the main event of Payback, Seth Rollins successfully retained the world heavyweight championship by defeating Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton in a fatal four way match. Plenty of interference from Kane, Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble throughout the match. A small reunion between the Shield got the audience really hyped up. In the end, Rollins used the Pedigree finishing move to finish off Orton.

On the surface, Seth Rollins defeated Randy Orton at Extreme Rules to retain the WWE Heavyweight Championship. Things might not be that way tomorrow on Monday Night Raw because the creative department made sure to make the ending as convoluted as possible. Orton hit the RKO, but it was on Kane instead of Rollins, who also hit the RKO as well. That leaves open the possibility for another rematch between the two performers.

Due mainly to the negative response from fans, WWE has been forced to keep Roman Reigns away from the top spot. That is the reason why he is stuck in a feud with the Big Show at the moment. At one point in time, management had plans for Reigns to work a stall program with Kane. That feud is most likely to happen if they change their minds about having Reigns work a triple threat title match with Seth Rollins and Randy Orton at Payback.

While WWE has done a solid job of trying to make us believe that Randy Orton has a chance of walking away with the world heavyweight championship at Extreme Rules, the current plan consists of Seth Rollins retaining the belt. He more than likely will be cheating to get that done. Since the front office doesn't want to do a straight up rematch, the belief is that Roman Reigns will be thrown into the mix at Payback in a triple threat match.

Count Randy Orton as one of the people in WWE that are rooting for CM Punk to do well in UFC. He has said to those around him that if Punk does well in MMA, then it gives professional wrestlers some credibility as athletes. Orton feels that people underestimate their abilities because the outcome of matches are scripted and predetermined. Several other wrestlers share the same opinion and will be watching his debut match intently.

While it is being said that the decision was not a last minute one, Seth Rollins was not aware of the plans when Wrestlemania started. In fact, he didn't even know what was to come while he was doing the job for Randy Orton. Management informed him of their decision during the segment with Ronda Rousey. That was when everyone involved was sent into a room with Michael Hayes to go over the revised finish of the match.

In a very logical move, WWE has decided to do a Wrestlemania rematch between Randy Orton and Seth Rollins at Extreme Rules. This time, however, the world heavyweight championship will be on the line. Management set this up at the previous pay per view by having Orton defeating Rollins before the latter went to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase on Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar in the main event.

In the second match at Wrestlemania, Randy Orton defeated Seth Rollins. The match started out a bit slow, but towards the middle of the match, it became obvious that WWE did that by design. Once the pace picked up, fans in the audience started really getting into it. Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury were both taken out by a double apron DDT to the floor by Orton. A ridiculous flying RKO spot ended the match and sealed the victory.

While everyone is under the assumption that the Intercontinental Championship ladder match is going to steal the show at Wrestlemania, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins have a different plan in mind. They're hoping to produce the match of the night. Rumors are floating around that the two of them have been discussing plans on doing a spot that is as awesome as the one where Evan Bourne took a flying RKO while flipping off the top rope.
