In the second match at Wrestlemania, Randy Orton defeated Seth Rollins. The match started out a bit slow, but towards the middle of the match, it became obvious that WWE did that by design. Once the pace picked up, fans in the audience started really getting into it. Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury were both taken out by a double apron DDT to the floor by Orton. A ridiculous flying RKO spot ended the match and sealed the victory.

While everyone is under the assumption that the Intercontinental Championship ladder match is going to steal the show at Wrestlemania, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins have a different plan in mind. They're hoping to produce the match of the night. Rumors are floating around that the two of them have been discussing plans on doing a spot that is as awesome as the one where Evan Bourne took a flying RKO while flipping off the top rope.

A match between Randy Orton and Seth Rollins is still heavily expected to take place at Wrestlemania. That much is known. What is not known, however, is who management will have coming out on top after the bell rings. Many backstage in WWE are pushing for Rollins to be put over, so that he can be moved into a title program with Roman Reigns. However, there are some that are pushing for Orton to get the win because he is making a comeback.

For much of the past year now, WWE knew that they wanted Seth Rollins to have a spot on the Wrestlemania card. They simply did not know who he was going to work with. Management seems to have found a candidate in Randy Orton. While the match should be high profile, the feeling backstage is that this is simply a filler feud for Rollins. The company is simply killing time with him before they figure out when to pull the Money in the Bank trigger.

As expected, Randy Orton made his return to WWE over the weekend during Fast Lane. He immediately set his sights on the man that he will most likely be wrestling against at Wrestlemania. Unless something drastic comes about to change up the plans, Orton and Rollins are currently penciled to work a high profile match at the pay per view together. The rivalry will need to be built up again because Orton was forced to take a couple of months off.

While he has yet to make television return for WWE, there are still plans in the works for Randy Orton. As of right now, he is penciled in for a high profile match against Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania. Management would like to start promoting that match soon, so Orton could be making his return as early as this Sunday when Fast Lane takes place. There, he would more than likely do a sneak attack on Rollins, who would then seek his own revenge.

Another person that has been affected greatly by the big snow storm in the northeast is Randy Orton. He was initially scheduled to make his television return this week on Smackdown. However, WWE has been forced to cancel those plans because their television shows have been heavily modified this week. Orton is still expected to make his return before Fast Lane, where he is expected to have a match on the February pay per view.

Since he should be medically cleared by the time the pay per view rolls around, the widespread belief among wrestling fans is that Randy Orton will be one of the mystery entrants during the big Royal Rumble match. However, WWE could opt to utilize him in a different way next Sunday. There are talks that he could be the one to interfere and cost Seth Rollins the chance to become the world champion, thus setting up their Wrestlemania feud.

When it comes to Wrestlemania, things are usually written in pencil, even up until the start of the pay per view. One thing that is fairly certain is that Randy Orton will be given a spot on the card, barring a serious injury or suspension. The problem for WWE is finding him someone to work with. One idea being tossed around backstage is to have the former world heavyweight champion working a high profile singles match against Seth Rollins.

It looks like WWE fans are going to have to wait a bit longer to see the return of Randy Orton. He reportedly is going in for surgery to repair a deviated septum. The nose injury will keep him out of action for a couple of days, but those within the company believe that the former world heavyweight champion will be ready to wrestle full matches against by the time the Royal Rumble comes around. He could be a surprise entrant in the match.
