At a time when WWE needs as many top level stars around as possible, some bad news has been revealed about Randy Orton and his shoulder injury. Reports have surfaced that he could be out as long as six months after surgery. Orton could opt out of surgery, but that means that his shoulder has a higher chance of being dislocated every time he steps into the ring. Surgery enables him to return by Wrestlemania.

When it comes to Wrestlemania, things are usually written in pencil, even up until the start of the pay per view. One thing that is fairly certain is that Randy Orton will be given a spot on the card, barring a serious injury or suspension. The problem for WWE is finding him someone to work with. One idea being tossed around backstage is to have the former world heavyweight champion working a high profile singles match against Seth Rollins.

It looks like WWE fans are going to have to wait a bit longer to see the return of Randy Orton. He reportedly is going in for surgery to repair a deviated septum. The nose injury will keep him out of action for a couple of days, but those within the company believe that the former world heavyweight champion will be ready to wrestle full matches against by the time the Royal Rumble comes around. He could be a surprise entrant in the match.
